Bose Free Space 51 Outdoor In Ground Speakers

I am using this amp to run my outdoor speakers, Bose Free Space 51s, in a very large back yard. It has great sound, much better than my old Sonos Connect and commercial amp. I have been updating my old Sonos equipment and can say the new Amp and speakers are well worth the money, the work and sound amazing.

Sound that comes out of these little speakers I wasn’t sure the price! Excellent outdoor stereo speakers from Bose

We do a lot of outdoor weddings, where level ground is in short supply - these are fantastic for keeping our speakers looking nice without worrying they'll fall over. The extension on the top for the smaller speaker mounting holes was great and they're tall enough without the lift, but we could use these as lighting stands too if the need arose. I needed the smallest, lightest solution to power two outdoor in-ground outdoor speakers and was tired of bulky receivers that didn't have the wireless and app features I was looking for. I only needed to power 2 speakers and receivers/amps tend to focus a lot of hardware on LOUD or MORE speakers vs great modern features for just a couple of outdoor entertainment speakers. Now, my backyard parties have chill vibes that I can control from my phone via Spotify.

I bought the atrium 5 when they first came out. I was looking for Bose outdoor speakers at the time. I went to Fry's in Alpharetta, Ga. I was in the speaker room and started listening to all the outdoor speakers. I cranked up the Bose and a few others. After listening, I found out that Polk had a better sound! I'm currently trying to finish my back patio with overhang porch, I do have the speakers out in the garage and the sound quality matches Bose!

We decided to go wireless and use Sonos to take away clutter and facilitate streaming and different music playback options in different rooms at the same time. We used to have an Onkyo 2 zone receiver running two amazing outdoor Bose speakers (prewired in our home) and a Bose Accousitmass 10 sorround system in our family room. To play the speakers outside we had to play the same thing in the Family room. It sounded good though. We replaced the Onkyo and indoor Bose surround with a Sonos Soundbar and we are 110% happy with that. We also bought a Sonos Amp to run the outdoor speakers. Now we can play different things in the different areas and the sound quality is phenomenal. The amp has more power and clarity than the old Onkyo receiver. I know this is a really expensive option, but for us, it was completely worth the investment!

I researched outdoor speakers and went to many stores to listen to many different brand names (B & W, B&O, etc.) These are not only the best for what I needed, but the sound and integration is amazing. I have to admit I'm a Bose fan, but have had other speakers and headphones and none have been able to contend with Bose products. The SA-5 amplifier was easy to set up and is easy to use. The app works well with the system and other SoundTouch speakers. I definitely recommend this set up. The highs are crisp and the lows are just enough without being overbearing.

I had an old set of outdoor speakers that I thought sounded great until I installed the BOSE 251s. The old outdoor speakers used to be powered by my old receiver/amplifier, but I replaced the receiver with the BOSE Soundtouch SA-5 Amplifier, and the 251s were the next logical upgrade. The music fills the deck and backyard with beautiful claer sound. I am very happy with the 251s combined with the SA-5 Amplifier.

I've been a Bose fan for years. My neighbor has been upgrading his outdoor system but the weak link was the speakers. We chipped in with his family to buy these speakers for his fathers day/birthday. A fantastic upgrade, no distortion and with a good amp you can easily increase volume levels.

I cannot imagine an easier setup. Always "on". Plenty of power for my big outdoor Bose speakers. Now I can control the music poolside. Highly recommended.
