Bose Headphones 35 Ii Replacement Ear Pads

I tried the Bose QC-35 wireless headphones and they were very nice, but they could not stand up to the excellent noise cancelling ability of the Sony’s! It will transform your traveling experience from noisy and stressful to quiet and blissful. These are expensive, but it’s because of the superior quality and technology in them. The touch controls work great, even though I have accidentally tapped them when taking off the headphones. The instant quiet/ambient sound mode is extremely helpful. By just placing your hand over the ear of the headphone you can silence the music and it also amplified the ambient sound around you for easy conversation with those around you. The battery life is incredible and with just a few minutes of charge you can get 5-8 hours of playtime! The ear cups are very ergonomic and comfortable even for very long usage (4 hours). Great construction and fold up into a small case. 5 |

We have about 20 of these and they have lasted a few years so far. Just bought replacement ear pads but the headphones work well. 5 |

Some of the best headphones I've ever owned. For reference I have used Bose QC 35 II, AirPods Pro, Sony, Beats. These are pricy but worth the money. 5 |

This headset is very good. For context - I am upgrading from the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II. Operating the headphones is not intuitive and quite different from the QC 35 II. It pays to download the manual which can be found in the Overview tab (you can download it from the Bose website as well). It takes practice to master the equipment, but it is well worth the effort. You will have to download a new APP from the App store. It takes some fiddling to get it working with the headset. There are lots of features (shortcuts, immersive audio etc.) that I don't use because all I want to do is connect to the television and turn on the noise cancellation. I have found that controlling the Ultra with the App is a lot easier than using the fiddly little buttons. The volume strip control works just fine however, just make sure your finger isn't greasy. I am quite happy I bought the Bose QC Ultra headphones. 5 |

I love Bose products in general. I had the original over ear noise cancelling headphones and graduated to QC 35 II., which was essentially the same headphone only wireless. I wore out my QC 35 II headphones and was hesitant to buy another new pair. If you're wondering whether this particular upgrade is worth it, the answer is absolutely! I am amazed at how immersive the sound is. It's not just music that sounds infinitely better, movies and TV sound amazing, too. I'm so glad I decided to get these. 5 |

I needed to replace the ear pads on my Sony MDR-7506 headphones - this for the second time... I use them to monitor audio levels during production. The originals and previous replacements wore out quickly, leaving flakey black plastic bits all over my head, face and ears. NOT acceptable. I am trusting that Sheepskin leather will hold up much better. 5 |

The Senal SMH-1000-MK2is lightweight, the cushiony ear pads and headband should fit confortably to everyone. I like the fact that the bottom headband side that touches my head is made of leather / leatherette, which is easy to clean with a mild detergent or 50% (max solution) alchohol with a soft cloth, rather than the headphones that are made of a mesh material which accumulates dirt and body stuff. Additionally, I recommend buying disposable headband and ear pad protectors such as the Auray Disposable Over-Ear Headphone Covers (50 Pairs, Black) https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1585973-REG/auray_hpc_45bk_disposable_headphone_cover_4_5.html for the ultimate in hygiene thus keeping that letter finish from deteriorating due to skin oils. Once I tried it, I can't go back. I love having those disposable pads on every single headphone I own! They also make in white. Performance: This headphone is excellent for critical listening for music and audio monitoring for video production. It has sufficient treble and the mid range boost vocals slightly and gently, just the right amount which is desired, thus maintaining the midrange mild, not piercing. I tested this headphone listening to Metal, Techno, Classical and HipHop. It provides the adequate amount of bass in a way the studio meant to be heard, balancing all frequencies as a whole. If you're a bass head looking for bass shattering headphones, where 99% of BASS is all that matters before the actual rest of the music, this is not the product for you. Volume: With the impedance of 64 Ohms, even on a MacBook Air, it is loud enough. About 90db, which is loud enough . If you want louder, it will depend on the equipment you are using. Therefore, I'm pleased with this headphone. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]. 5 |

The ear cups of my old Senal SMH -Series headphones were cracking and flaking, so I had to wipe the flecks of the old phones off my face after I used them. I got the deluxe velour ear pads and in a couple of minutes I replaced the old cushions. And by the way, Auray has a video that shows you the right way to do it. They're comfortable and don't get hot. Easy to install. Make sure your headphones have 1/6/40 mm drivers. Larger than that, and I don't think they'll fit. If you're using Sony Sony MDR-7506 in the studio and your talent is complaining that they're not comfortable after an hour or two, swap out the ear pads with these and the complaints will stop. A great buy for $14. 5 |

As a audiophile I have other headphones I prefer if I want to simply listen to music however as a pro AV tech, this Sony MDR-7506 is the ONLY headphones I want when doing any kind of pro use from checking a mic line in a live mixing situation to mixing audio for video, this is my choice headphone. The Sony sound is flat, not a lot of bass but is exactly whats needed when mixing as you want flat. The isolation is good when blocking outside sounds and I find the Sony will hold up to pro use, except the ear pads those are replaceable, I would suggest go ahead and order the extra ear pads as you will need them. I have been using my original set of Sony MDR-7506 at least 12 years of pro work and are simply fantastic! Never a short or any problems but I am on my 4th or 5th set of ear pads as in a pro situation I am very hard on these phones. You may find a better sounding headphone but when mixing or using in the field for anything pro AV, this is the headphones to buy! 5 |
