Bose Headphones Ambient Noise

I was between this ones and the Bose since i needed noise cancelling headphones. My first experience was that the design was just perfect fit for me and it was easy to install and connect to my iphone. The noise cancelling in airplanes works perfectly and the ambient sound is perfect to keep listening to any song and hearing any incoming sound. the manual controls to increase or reduce volume, switching songs and ambient sound is really easy and with one hand. I really recommend this product since the price is one of the lowest for a high quality headphones. Also the audio quality exceeds my expectations. And the battery allows you to use for non-stop for many hours, at least 13 non-stop. Amazing right? 5 |

Best headphones I’ve ever had. Love that I can hear the ambient noise as well. Much safer. 5 |

Ive had several other noise cancelling headphones by Bose (QC35 II) and Beats (Studio Wireless) and I always hailed Bose as king of Noise Cancelling headphones. Now the only thing that Bose has over Sony is the durability of the headphones, my Bose headphones I could pretty much bend however I wanted and they wouldn't break. The Sony's are a bit more stiff, but the material is still premium! I originally went with Bose because of their comfort though, I like to wear my headphones for an extended period of time and the old Sony's (XM1 and XM2) got uncomfortable after a few hours. With the new design however, I can see myself wearing these all day! What does Sony have to offer that's better than Bose? - Noise cancelling (much better) - Sound quality - Battery life - Customization through app - Accessories (better quality auxiliary charger cords, as well as a good airplane adapter!!) - USB-C Charger!!! (as a MacBook Pro owner this was a must, I hated micro-usb so much) - Comfort? (I'm still testing this out but ill update in a few weeks if its better or on-par with the Bose QuietComfort 35 ii) 5 |

Have 2 other Bose Noise-Cancelling headphones over the years and I always felt somewhat disappointed in the quality of the noise cancelling, but figured this is what it is. Now I know differently. These Sony headphones literally shut down nearly all the noise where I can't hear anyone talking to me and priced reasonably, unlike the Bose or Apple headphones. 5 |

I tried the Bose QC-35 wireless headphones and they were very nice, but they could not stand up to the excellent noise cancelling ability of the Sony’s! It will transform your traveling experience from noisy and stressful to quiet and blissful. These are expensive, but it’s because of the superior quality and technology in them. The touch controls work great, even though I have accidentally tapped them when taking off the headphones. The instant quiet/ambient sound mode is extremely helpful. By just placing your hand over the ear of the headphone you can silence the music and it also amplified the ambient sound around you for easy conversation with those around you. The battery life is incredible and with just a few minutes of charge you can get 5-8 hours of playtime! The ear cups are very ergonomic and comfortable even for very long usage (4 hours). Great construction and fold up into a small case. 5 |

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Headphones are a game-changer in the world of noise-canceling headphones. I've had the pleasure of using them for a while now, and I must say, they deliver an exceptional audio experience. First and foremost, the noise cancellation on these headphones is nothing short of incredible. They effortlessly drown out background noise, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in your music or podcasts. Whether you're on a noisy commute, working in a bustling coffee shop, or just need some peace and quiet at home, these headphones will do the trick. Sound quality is where Bose truly shines. The audio is crisp, clear, and well-balanced across the entire spectrum. The bass is punchy without being overpowering, and the mids and highs are rich and detailed. Whether you're listening to classical music, hip-hop, or podcasts, these headphones deliver a fantastic audio experience. Comfort is another area where the QuietComfort Ultra excels. They are incredibly lightweight and come with plush ear cushions, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods. The headband is adjustable and feels secure without being too tight. They're perfect for long flights or marathon work sessions. Battery life is also impressive. With up to 20 hours of playback time on a single charge, you can enjoy your music all day without worrying about running out of power. The touch-sensitive controls on the earcups are intuitive and easy to use. You can adjust volume, skip tracks, and even answer calls with a few simple taps. These are worth every penny if you value top-notch noise cancellation, audio quality, and comfort. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Headphones are a premium choice for audiophiles and frequent travelers alike, and they have certainly earned a spot at the top of my list of favorite headphones. 5 |

These AfterShokz OpenMove Wireless Bone Conduction Open-Ear Bluetooth Headphones are well made and the sound quality is very good. They let you hear music and phone calls without blocking ambient sounds. Headphones with noise cancellation are fine if you want to block out ambient noise. But noise cancellation or even sound deadening aren’t desirable when driving a car, jogging or just being out for a walk when you need to hear traffic, horns honk and the like. Even in an office environment, you can listen to music or do a virtual meeting and still hear your boss yell at you. LOL. Seriously, these are perfect when you want to listen to music or an audio book but need to be alert to your surroundings. 5 |

With regular headphones I always had to turn up the volume way too loud to hear over the ambient noise at the gym. Now I can put in some earplugs and hear my music at a peaceful level. So much safer for my hearing! The tiny controls are a little difficult for my arthritic hands, but I can manage. 5 |

Over the ear headphones reduce ambient noise. Sound quality is very good for mono headphones. 5 |

By far the best headphones I have had for a while. The autoswitching between full noise cancelling and ambient sound as you move/transit is very clever. Sound is superb, but the real ace is the noise cancelling. 5 |
