Bose Headphones Making Loud Noise

Ive had several other noise cancelling headphones by Bose (QC35 II) and Beats (Studio Wireless) and I always hailed Bose as king of Noise Cancelling headphones. Now the only thing that Bose has over Sony is the durability of the headphones, my Bose headphones I could pretty much bend however I wanted and they wouldn't break. The Sony's are a bit more stiff, but the material is still premium! I originally went with Bose because of their comfort though, I like to wear my headphones for an extended period of time and the old Sony's (XM1 and XM2) got uncomfortable after a few hours. With the new design however, I can see myself wearing these all day! What does Sony have to offer that's better than Bose? - Noise cancelling (much better) - Sound quality - Battery life - Customization through app - Accessories (better quality auxiliary charger cords, as well as a good airplane adapter!!) - USB-C Charger!!! (as a MacBook Pro owner this was a must, I hated micro-usb so much) - Comfort? (I'm still testing this out but ill update in a few weeks if its better or on-par with the Bose QuietComfort 35 ii) 5 |

Have 2 other Bose Noise-Cancelling headphones over the years and I always felt somewhat disappointed in the quality of the noise cancelling, but figured this is what it is. Now I know differently. These Sony headphones literally shut down nearly all the noise where I can't hear anyone talking to me and priced reasonably, unlike the Bose or Apple headphones. 5 |

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Headphones are a game-changer in the world of noise-canceling headphones. I've had the pleasure of using them for a while now, and I must say, they deliver an exceptional audio experience. First and foremost, the noise cancellation on these headphones is nothing short of incredible. They effortlessly drown out background noise, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in your music or podcasts. Whether you're on a noisy commute, working in a bustling coffee shop, or just need some peace and quiet at home, these headphones will do the trick. Sound quality is where Bose truly shines. The audio is crisp, clear, and well-balanced across the entire spectrum. The bass is punchy without being overpowering, and the mids and highs are rich and detailed. Whether you're listening to classical music, hip-hop, or podcasts, these headphones deliver a fantastic audio experience. Comfort is another area where the QuietComfort Ultra excels. They are incredibly lightweight and come with plush ear cushions, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods. The headband is adjustable and feels secure without being too tight. They're perfect for long flights or marathon work sessions. Battery life is also impressive. With up to 20 hours of playback time on a single charge, you can enjoy your music all day without worrying about running out of power. The touch-sensitive controls on the earcups are intuitive and easy to use. You can adjust volume, skip tracks, and even answer calls with a few simple taps. These are worth every penny if you value top-notch noise cancellation, audio quality, and comfort. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Headphones are a premium choice for audiophiles and frequent travelers alike, and they have certainly earned a spot at the top of my list of favorite headphones. 5 |

Bose is known for their amazing sound but these headphones take it to the next level. Immersive audio is the next best thing to going to a concert. Classical, punk, blue grass... it doesn't matter... it sounds like you're right there with great seats. As a mid-40's woman, I'm not the most technologically savvy person out there but setting up these headphones & pairing them to both my phone & computer was easy & now I can jam out to music during work, take a quick call, & get back to dancing around the room seamlessly. The only issue I've had since I first put these on is trying to get used to noise cancelling technology... it makes my head feel mushy. Luckily I've added to my modes to allow various levels of outside noise to come through so I can enjoy the technology without discomfort. If you're interested in high quality headphones with amazing sound capabilities, you will not be disappointed with Bose QC Ultra Headphones. 5 |

With regular headphones I always had to turn up the volume way too loud to hear over the ambient noise at the gym. Now I can put in some earplugs and hear my music at a peaceful level. So much safer for my hearing! The tiny controls are a little difficult for my arthritic hands, but I can manage. 5 |

I recently got my hands on the Shokz Open Fit headphones, and I am absolutely blown away by their performance. These headphones offer an unparalleled level of noise isolation that allows me to carry on conversations with impeccable clarity, even in the midst of various loud activities. From vacuuming to flushing toilets, opening loud doors, and even accidentally banging things, these headphones truly live up to their promise of blocking out background noises. I was amazed to find that I can go about my household chores without worrying about the person on the other end of the call hearing anything other than my voice. I mean, I can even vacuum while maintaining a seamless conversation – it's almost unbelievable! The call quality itself is exceptional. The microphone seems to be designed with precision, capturing my voice without picking up the surrounding noise. The sound is crisp, and the person on the other end hears me loud and clear, without any interference or disturbances from the activities happening around me 5 |

I have been using these solidly for almost two weeks now, and I find them replacing every pair of headphones I use. I work in a large production warehouse that gets incredibly loud with all the machinery, and the noise cancelation is strong enough to make all of it faint. My PTSD makes going into loud public places almost impossible, so I rely on noise cancelation. Places like the grocery store are completely silent. Now my caveat. The Immersive Audio feels like a beta. It works wonderfully with certain songs, falls short with a lot of others, and is practically useless with things like podcasts and audiobooks. Thankfully you can use these without ever turning it on. There is a lot of potential and I suspect it will get much better with some tweaking in the future. Without the Immersive Audio, these are by far the best headphones I have ever used and will continue to do so. All the materials used give them a solid, premium, and comfortable feel. The sound is clear and the battery life is insane. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade. They are everything Bose does best. Just not for the Immersive Audio experience. 5 |

It's connected to the headphones output and I can hear the conversation loud and clear. Also the engine noise is now only 2% of what it was. It's a must have! 5 |

As a casual listener rather than an audiophile or tech expert, my review of the Bose Ultra Quiet Comfort headphones comes from an overall impression and genuine experience with this product. Right from the start, Bose delivers an incredible sound quality that feels like hearing music anew, capturing details I never noticed with other headphones in this class. The accompanying app allows for easy customization, so you can adjust the sound to suit your personal taste. The immersive experience truly feels “out of this world.” The noise-canceling feature far surpassed my expectations, easily blocking out background distractions, making it ideal for focused listening. Comfort-wise, these headphones are incredibly lightweight compared to others in the same category, and the design feels sleek and modern. They have a smaller profile than previous models, which adds to their stylish look without compromising performance. In summary, Bose has hit it out of the park with these headphones. They offer exceptional sound quality, impressive noise-canceling capabilities, and a comfortable fit—an unbeatable combination. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a top-tier listening experience! 5 |
