I have used Bose noise canceling headphones for over 20 years and they just recently stopped working. I was going to replace them with another pair, but had a chance to try these out and wow, love at first listen. Nothing wrong with the Bose, but I appreciate not having to use a battery and the sound quality is enchanting. Doesn’t cut out as much background noise as the Bose, but they still do a great job. I’m an audio engineer, so I’m picky!

From the top tier packaging and their amazing sound quality, these are an awesome headphones for somebody who truly loves great sound. Setting these up couldn't be easier using the Bose Music app. I easily paired my phones with my devices and the interface was easy to use and made setting it up easy. I was ready to play with my new toy in just about 2 minutes. A new highlight with these headphones is the spatial audio feature. Using spatial audio it truly feels like you have the sound coming right at you and it immerses you into whatever you are listening to. No matter if it was a movie or listening to any genre of music it makes you feel like you are in the center of the room. The sound reproduction is absolutly amazing; the subtle nuances of the instruments and the clarity of the vocals were brought to life in a way I had never heard before. Having come from over the ear headphones I always found my previous headphones were a bit uncomfortable and generally were too tight on my head. The fluffy ear cushions brought comfort that I hadn't experienced in the past with these headphones. Even using them for 2+ hours my ears did not get sweaty or start to feel numb. The price may be a bit high but the money you spend on these cans will be well worth it if you value great sound and amazing comfort.

This is my first pair of new Bose headphones since I purchased my Bose noise cancelling headphones roughly 6 years ago. The fit and feel of the headphones are very comfortable, lightweight, and fit the contour of my head very nicely. Aesthetically, the headphones look top-notch and very well put together. Battery life is more than I would ever need in any given go, but I have yet to run into any performance or charging issues. Pairing the headphones with the Bose app was seamless, and the product demonstration/tutorial was fantastic. I fly a lot for work and for anyone wanting to tune out the white noise of air travel and have a truly immersive audio experience, look no further than the Bose QuietComfort Ultra.

This is my third audio device. I have a harman kardon speaker, bose q25 headphones and finally these Kanto YU2 speakers. I've never heard anything so clear in my life, the base is so good for its size. I was going to get the Kanto SUB6 to go with it but I don't think I'm going to need it anytime soon. It is worth every penny you won't regret these speakers. JUST DO IT. SO GOOD.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are like me, you're deciding between these 1000XM4's or the Bose 700, and after using both, I can definitely see the appeal in these. Battery life and ANC are stellar in these sets of headphones, and audio quality is great as well! Design is rather subdued, but in a good way. These are comfortable headphones with ample padding without getting too heavy, and a case that makes it smaller to pack than the Bose 700. I wish these Sonys had better audio pickup for phone calls, as it doesn't quite stack up to the 700s. What it does bring to the table is great overall package, specs to beat, and a good price to match. As for the comparisons between this or the Bose 700, you really can't go wrong with either, but it should end up being a design choice and whether or not call pickup quality is value high on your list.

I had been using Bose open-backed headphones for in-studio monitoring and casually music listening. They worked great and I had zero issues with them, until I starting doing location work in loud rooms. I desperately needed a good closed back set of headphones AND I didn't want to break the bank. These cans are awesome! First off they sound great. Great frequency response, great specs overall. Of course they solved my on-location issues of my open-backed Bose headphones. The closed back kills most of the ambient room noise. These headphones are solidly built. Great construction! Things I love about them: - the cans swivel 90 degrees forward and back. Great for one ear monitoring. - Solid build, they don't feel cheap - they fold nicely and store in the supplied bag - and the best thing is the removable / locking cables. Yes cables! First off, they are removable, replaceable twist lock cables. and you don;t just get one... you get three! a 4' straight cable, a 10' straight cable and a 10' coiled cable. Very strategic... very appreciated!! - And they didn't break the bank

This is exactly the cable I needed to allow me to use my Bose 700 NC headphones with my iPhone without draining my battery or needing an adapter. And the volume and play/pause buttons work perfectly so I still have the player control I wanted.
