Bose On Ear Audio Headphones Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are like me, you're deciding between these 1000XM4's or the Bose 700, and after using both, I can definitely see the appeal in these. Battery life and ANC are stellar in these sets of headphones, and audio quality is great as well! Design is rather subdued, but in a good way. These are comfortable headphones with ample padding without getting too heavy, and a case that makes it smaller to pack than the Bose 700. I wish these Sonys had better audio pickup for phone calls, as it doesn't quite stack up to the 700s. What it does bring to the table is great overall package, specs to beat, and a good price to match. As for the comparisons between this or the Bose 700, you really can't go wrong with either, but it should end up being a design choice and whether or not call pickup quality is value high on your list. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Skullcandy is generally not a name that I default to when thinking about over-ear headphones, however the Hesh Evo have definitely made a statement with me. I used to use a pair of Sennheiser over-ear headphones for work and now the Hesh Evo's have completely taken over that role. They are nice and light, which help when you're wearing them for hours. Battery life has been excellent. I find that I'm charging them only once a week. The material of the ear cushions don't stick to your face unlike the Sennheisers. No complaints with the audio/mic quality either. They aren't the most premium audio experience, nor are they supposed to be. For the price and the quality, I definitely wouldn't hesitate recommending these to family and friends. 5 |

ATH-X50. This review is for build quality only. I am not qualifified to rate audio. I use these for field recording, and for my requirements, they are excellent. They fold to fit into my audio bag, and the quick detachable signal cord allows easy change to match conditions. I have no suggestions for how they could be improved for field use. If you need full ear cupping, these are not the headphones for you. Small ear cups make the folding design possible, and would limit my use of them for long listening. I have other headphones for that use. Overall the construction appears to substantal, and robust. Qualities needed for field use. My purchase of them came with three cords, and a carry bag. I am really happy with the purchase. 5 |

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Headphones are a game-changer in the world of noise-canceling headphones. I've had the pleasure of using them for a while now, and I must say, they deliver an exceptional audio experience. First and foremost, the noise cancellation on these headphones is nothing short of incredible. They effortlessly drown out background noise, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in your music or podcasts. Whether you're on a noisy commute, working in a bustling coffee shop, or just need some peace and quiet at home, these headphones will do the trick. Sound quality is where Bose truly shines. The audio is crisp, clear, and well-balanced across the entire spectrum. The bass is punchy without being overpowering, and the mids and highs are rich and detailed. Whether you're listening to classical music, hip-hop, or podcasts, these headphones deliver a fantastic audio experience. Comfort is another area where the QuietComfort Ultra excels. They are incredibly lightweight and come with plush ear cushions, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods. The headband is adjustable and feels secure without being too tight. They're perfect for long flights or marathon work sessions. Battery life is also impressive. With up to 20 hours of playback time on a single charge, you can enjoy your music all day without worrying about running out of power. The touch-sensitive controls on the earcups are intuitive and easy to use. You can adjust volume, skip tracks, and even answer calls with a few simple taps. These are worth every penny if you value top-notch noise cancellation, audio quality, and comfort. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Headphones are a premium choice for audiophiles and frequent travelers alike, and they have certainly earned a spot at the top of my list of favorite headphones. 5 |

I tried the Bose QC-35 wireless headphones and they were very nice, but they could not stand up to the excellent noise cancelling ability of the Sony’s! It will transform your traveling experience from noisy and stressful to quiet and blissful. These are expensive, but it’s because of the superior quality and technology in them. The touch controls work great, even though I have accidentally tapped them when taking off the headphones. The instant quiet/ambient sound mode is extremely helpful. By just placing your hand over the ear of the headphone you can silence the music and it also amplified the ambient sound around you for easy conversation with those around you. The battery life is incredible and with just a few minutes of charge you can get 5-8 hours of playtime! The ear cups are very ergonomic and comfortable even for very long usage (4 hours). Great construction and fold up into a small case. 5 |

I am happy to have a new pair of Bose Headphones because I left the 10 year old set I was using in the seat pocket of a SWA Flt. My only complaint is that the right side ear cup is so tight that it irritates my ear after many hours of listening. Other then that minor inconvenience I love the sound quality and noise cancellation features! 5 |

I'm ecstatic to own another pair of headphones from Bose's latest and greatest Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones. I love the continuation of the Quiet Comfort series as it is a name that is synonymous with comfort, lightweight, and the best noise-canceling headphones/earphones around. The build quality is fantastic, and it looks and feels expensive. It has a clean outline and a sophisticated look to it. The high-quality mattified metal arms retract within the headband. The headband and the ear cups have thick and soft cushions with soft leatherette material. Although the clamp on the ear is a bit tighter than the Bose QC 45s, this headphone is still very comfortable. I enjoy wearing it in the office at work on "Aware" mode, where I can enjoy the beautiful stereo sound in my ear and still hear all the background noise around me. When I go on my one-hour lunch break after a quick bite and a brisk walk, I take advantage of some relaxing jazz music afterward and enjoy the Immersive Audio on "Still" mode, which is mind-boggling and as close to 3D audio as you can get. It's like going to a club with the ginormous stereo on your ear and the sound goes from one ear to the next ear as you shake and twist your head from side to side. The most enjoyable feature I love on the headphones is the auto-pause feature. When you take off your headphones, your audio will automatically pause. And likewise, when you get it back on your head, it will continue to play where it left off. The battery life is long-lasting. I enjoy it on my commute home on public transportation, and it even has enough juice to enjoy with my TV at home after my daughter goes to sleep so I can enjoy my late-night crime show. I love the high-density crush-proof case with the molded ear cuff inside. The presentation and packaging are premium, and this bundle of joy makes me happy. Now my daughter wants one, too! 5 |

Comfortable and great sound quality. This is my first time using over-the-ear headphones. I have the Bose earbuds and love them but I've always wanted to try the over-the-ear ones. The sound quality is great, just like with the earbuds and what you expect from Bose. The noise-canceling feature is amazing! When you put these headphones on it's like blocking out the world around you. I used these for music, phone calls, and online meetings and it really blocked out everything, I could barely hear my dogs barking. My only issue is that when using them for calls it's hard to get used to not being able to hear yourself too well. 5 |

These are now the gold standard for over the ear ANC headphones. Forget Sony & Bose, IF you own apple products. 5 |

I have used the Bose over the head models and several in the ear models by various manufacturers. This 1000m3 is the best on my opinion. Audio is A , not A , however it sounds great. The Noise cancelling is the best I have seen. If you fly and you want great audio and the best noise control these are the go to phones. 5 |
