These semi-open headphones are about the best for my money. I use them for video editing when monitors are not available. 5 |

I have been wearing professional headphones for quite some time and use mine primarily for video shoots and video editing. My usual go to are Sennheisers or Audio Technica's in the $200 and up range and this is comparable if not better. I have edited multiple hours these headphones on and have loved how they don't hurt my ears or give me a headache. The build is super strong and the connection that the cable will last for quite some time. The L and R for headphones is a feature I didn't think I'd find as useful but it's great! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a high quality pair of professional sounding headphones. 5 |

My hearing isn't what it used to be, so I find myself using headphones more while video editing. I'm a fan of the simple and clean design of these. As important, the base is heavy, these don't tip over every time I remove and replace my Sony's. 5 |

I use this for: Video editing Field monitoring music travel PROS: First off I bought these in march 2012, and judging by the other comments many issues have been addressed from earlier versions. I have a very fat head (my friends dont lend me sunglasses anymore because my head bends them) and huge ears, but these fit around them comfortably and are not overly tight. The passive NR is fantastic. the sound quality is superb. Some people say you need an amp for this, i guess that was for earlier versions because i have had no issues listening to this on low powered devices. CONS: Build quality is solidish...but not solid enough that i would knock them around or put them in the bottom of my suitcase. They also dont fold up very well. Extending the headphones is a little weird. But these are small complaints for such a great cheap pair of headphones. 5 |

I previously purchased these headphones years ago for professional video/audio editing and absolutely loved them. Soft eat muffs, perfect coord length, durable, sturdy, and overall solid. When they finally broke (after years of use while filming in the rain, snow, and on the ocean) I decided to buy the same pair which came with an extra cord. I swapped the old cord from my broken pair with the bonus cord that came with it and it turns out the old pair still function and just needed a new cord! Now I have two great headphones. Thank you! 5 |

I use these headphones with my pc as well as my home stereo system. Great for everything at home: video editing, music, movies. They isolate yet leave space for sound reproduction, and they look great. Occasionally the head band rubs the top of my head wrong after hours of use, but I think this is more attributable to how I was wearing them initially, plus the fact that I have been keep my hair cropped short. Best pair of headphones I have ever owned. 5 |

I've had several headphones for podcast and video editing and these are awesome. Great sound quality and they feel comfortable. I also like that you can change which side the wire goes on the headphones. 5 |

These headphones are ideal for video shooting and editing. With these there is no second guessing on audio quality. I'm thrilled that I purchased them and love using them! 5 |

I work professionally with video and audio and I needed an inexpensive pair of studio headphones for editing video at home. For the price, I was very surprised by the excellent build and sound quality. They are also comfortable to wear. I have Sennheiser, Roland, and Sony headphones at work that cost a heck of a lot more than these and are not nearly as nice. I bought a second pair. 5 |

I use these headphones for both personal and professional use in broadcast, audio and video editing when I'm listening for particular audio ... nuances which are often easier to pick up via headphone compared to monitor speakers. There was a time at the tv network I work for in Canada, that we had literally hundreds of these. And then they started disappearing, so the network subbed them at work terminals with much cheaper models. Understandable, really. Highly recommended, although I did sub out velour ear pads for longer-term comfort. Thanks Sony for keeping these in the mix. And B&H offering amazing pricing on the 7506's. 5 |
