Bose Vs Sony Anc Headphones

These are now the gold standard for over the ear ANC headphones. Forget Sony & Bose, IF you own apple products. 5 |

The Bose QuietComfort Headphones are the REAL DEAL. These things check all the boxes, from comfort to sound to ANC. The battery life has been exceptional, with play far outlasting any long sessions I’ve had with them on. The immersive audio is an intuitive, interesting feature (just make sure you check the app to ensure the IA is in the correct parameters for your current activity). The only shortcoming I’ve found with these stellar headphones is that I believe that the drivers could be a little larger to get a slightly deeper, bassist range down low. That is literally the only shortfall. My wife also wanted me to add, for all you out there that face the same issue, that the ANC does WONDERS for canceling out my snoring. 5 |

Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones have the best ANC in the market. The different modes are immersive, aware, and quiet work great. Immersive is spatial and ANC, allowing you to focus on the sound. Quiet mode blocks outside noise and awareness allow the important sounds in. The sound quality is very clean sounding. Treble, mids, and bass all have a distinct channel and don't bleed into each other. The app does have EQ settings so you can adjust bass, treble, and mids. The sound from Bose will never be bass-heavy. I feel the sound is too clean and is missing a warmth. The build quality is solid and the headphones are comfortable to wear for hours. My only complaint is the ear cups are too shallow. In summary, if you are looking for clean sound with awesome ANC the Bose QuietComfort headphones are for you. 5 |

I've had all the Sony and Bose ANC headphones and still have the NC700's which I liked lot but these are just next level. I use headphones everyday to watch TV via Firestick on some TV's and via Apple TV in the master bedroom. I work from home so being able to connect to the TV and answer a call with the Bose NC700's was a nice feature but it wasn't perfect and most of the time the person on the call would complain I was breaking up probably due to Wi-Fi or some kind of interference. Additionally, while watching TV the NC700's audio would crack for a couple seconds and I'd miss words and have to skip back which was annoying. These hickups caused me to yern for a set of ANC's that just worked all the time everytime like my Airpod Pro's. Problem with the Pro's is the limited battery time and no volume adjustment so you can't use them with the Firestick. Which brings me to the Max's. These just work and when I'm watching TV and a call comes in on my iPhone I just answer it and switch to the APM's and it just works and works seemlessly. Couldnt be happier with the quality and the sound and the integration especially with all things Apple. If you have the money and use headphones for more than just music these are the ones to own! Note: My first pair B&H sent me ended up being defective after about 3 days of use. The right ear cup started to make this faint inconsistent fake wind noise in the background of whatever I was listening to with the ANC active. Turning off ANC made it go away and transparency mode as well. In any event I worked with B&H and they worked to overnight me a replacement pair and it's been bliss ever since. Pro-tip: GET THE APPLECARE+ with these! You just never know with them being so new what will happen. 5 |

These are by far the best earbuds I've tried. Sony earbuds cause an almost immediate, long-lasting ache in my ear canal no matter what tips I use and the settings I try. ANC was uncomfortable. Others hurt my outer ear and never get close in sound to my beloved over-ear headphones. I didn't even consider the expensive Bose QuietComfort line because of the baffling lack of good multi-point connection. My Sony experience was not strong there either despite offering multipoint. These easily beat what's out there. They have the best sound I've heard from any earbuds, are surprisingly comfortable all day with their concha and not-too-deep fit, have great features like wireless case charging, can customize level of ANC and transparency, can amazingly jump back and forth between THREE devices seamlessly and for the first time I feel no pressure with ANC. I can listen to music- actually sounds good- and it seamlessly jumps to my online meetings, then back to my phone when I choose to answer a phone call. They last me most of the workday of constant meetings which is more than average. These aren't the most high profile earbuds and I'm not sure why. They just plain work in every way that others don't. Consider skipping the Sony and Bose and trying these. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I've owned my fair share of Bluetooth headphones, none of them have had ANC and, honestly, I wasn't sure if I really needed a noise cancelling feature at all in my headphones. I most often listen to music while at home where it's relatively quiet, anyway. But I was excited anyway to finally try out the noise cancelling capabilities of these Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones, and I couldn't be more impressed. Even when I'm just in my bedroom listening to music, these headphones dull the sound of my noisy air purifier and bring the music into crystal-clear focus. These are great sounding headphones, but it's the ANC and attention to design and detail that really make for an impressive listening experience. With other Bluetooth headphones I've owned, even the ones that had good sound quality, I've always felt like I need to turn up my music really loud in order to properly "feel" it, which was probably terrible for my hearing health. But even at lower volumes, these Sony headphones sound clear and vibrant. The 360 Reality audio capability is really awesome as well. I set it up with my Tidal HiFi subscription and played one of my favorite albums I've heard a hundred times, yet I swear I was hearing details and depth in the music that I had never heard before. And what's even better is that these headphones have all these great features while keeping them super easy to use and super comfortable to wear. I usually wear glasses, and typically glasses plus headphones equals massive headache after more than a few minutes of use, but these Sony headphones put no pressure on my glasses. The headband doesn't dig into the top of my head either, like other headphones often do on me. This level of comfort, in combination with long battery life, means that I can use these for many hours with zero worries, just pure focus on the music. What more could you want? 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Skullcandy Hesh ANC Noise-Canceling Headphones with Mic are a game-changer for anyone in need of high-quality headphones. The noise-canceling feature is incredibly effective, blocking out most of the background noise and allowing you to fully immerse yourself in your music or podcast. The sound quality of the headphones is excellent. The bass is deep and rich, the mids are clear, and the highs are crisp. The built-in microphone is also of good quality, making it easy to take calls or use voice commands. The design of the headphones is sleek and modern. They are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, thanks to the soft cushioning on the ear cups and headband. The headphones are also adjustable, ensuring a perfect fit for any head size. The packaging of the product was well done. The headphones were securely packed in a box with protective foam to prevent any damage during shipping. Overall, I highly recommend the Skullcandy Hesh ANC Noise-Canceling Headphones with Mic. They offer excellent sound quality, effective noise-canceling, and a comfortable fit. They are perfect for anyone in need of a high-quality pair of headphones. 5 |
