Bose Wireless Microphone Wr 206 Specs

I had to replace the lav microphone for an Azden WR-PRO wireless mic pack (not the microphone's fault... it literally was trampled by the talent...). I tried some quick replacements while this was in the mail, but I was glad when the package showed up since nothing could match the sound of the original. It has great pick-up while also ignoring a lot of background noise, such as a busy highway or a crowded convention hall. If you have an Azden pack, BE SURE TO GET THIS MIC. If you get an electrocet mic that is powered by a battery, you get a bad buzz in the audio line. The only con I have seen is that the tie-clip included is a bit flimsy, doesn't really grip well and is easy to lose.

This microphone is the best microphone around. I tested it against other microphones with similar specs and this one sounds much better.

Works great, EXCEPT... what you really need to know at time of purchase is that you actually have to order the WR-T10 Wireless Remote Controller Transmitter AND the WR-R10 Wireless Remote Controller AND the WR-A10 Wireless Remote Adapter ALL TOGETHER to work with the D500.

This is much cheaper than the WR-R11b and WR-T10 kit and works a treat. The only caveat is that you need to make sure you either point it at the camera body or it can bounce off something and reach the camera body. You also need to be within range. Oddly enough the battery in the unit I received was quite flat when I got it even though there was a plastic protector installed to protect the battery. Batteries often have an expiry date, so sometimes this happens even if batteries are not used for long periods. I have a lot of spare batteries for this remote lying around, so I just put in a new battery and was on my way. It comes with a really cute little pouch to protect it, and that's what I'm keeping it in when I'm not using it. One nice thing with a wireless remote is that you can't shake the camera through the cord, but I don't consider a wireless remote a must have, but it makes things convenient and allows me to work quickly since I can have it with me at all times and don't need to pick it up and put it back down when I'm working and setting things up.

If you want to shoot a wireless shutter release or if you want to wirelessly control SB5000 when used with D5 or D500, you need to buy the whole set including WR-A10, WR-T10 and WR-R10.

I've been using the WR-R10/WR-T10 Wireless Remote Adapter Set for years, purchasing the Z9 I needed the WR-A10 adapter to make the set work and compatible with the Z9. This wireless remote adapter set is brilliant, worth every penny.

I looked at both the Kirk and this one. The RRS was the only one of the two that offered a sliding L component. I'm mostly a landscape photographer and use a WR-R10 and a Wr-T10 as a wireless shutter release and with a wireless SB-5000 flash. I leave the WR-R10 plugged into the camera and find that sliding the L component out about an inch protects the WR-R10 bumps in my camera bag and in the field. I also find most of the RRS product I buy to be outstanding. Their camera plats also have two receptacle for quick detach (QD) camera straps. My only minor complaint is the base plate surrounds the battery compartment making battery replacement a little more challenging but not a deal breaker. I have big hands and fingers so it can sometimes be a little tricky to release the battery door latch.

I use this for the wireless microphone system. For outdoor event.
