Boston University Center For Remote Sensing

I've used these to record a university orchestra from the first balcony--about 100' from center stage. Did an excellent job with a crisp and well defined sound. Also have used these to record solo violin with good results. I'm not a pro--I recorded either to a Panasonic HVX-200a camcorder or Tascam digital recorder. So I don't know how these compare with the expensive small-diaphragm mics made for acoustic instruments. But I can't complain about my results.

I purchase these for a university student center occasionally and these always hold up to the rigors of a student crew and student users. They consistently sound great too. We have tried other, cheaper brands, and the others do not hold up at all compared to the Canares. Highly recommend.

We had to order a few more clips for the University Media Center that I manage. A couple of our patrons misplaced the clips because they had been attached via the wire, instead of clipped to the body of the microphone. When used correctly, the clips work like a charm.

I work for a University and have been struggling with remote controller for projectors. They disappear, batteries die.... and other options like Extron or Crestron classroom control systems are VERY expensive. PixiePlus works with any projector that has an IR remote, so ANY projector! Its true it is designed and pre programmed for Epson projectors only, however the learning mode allows the PixiePlus to learn any remote control button press to any of its available buttons. It literally took me 5 minutes to program mine, first time ever trying, and works perfectly. The only draw back would be if there was a specific function you had to use that there isn't a button on the remote control for. so watch for that. But otherwise great product, looks nice, works perfect. Also noteworthy to mention you will need a Cat5e cable which is not included, and I don't think mentioned when you order. thats and extra $5 so no big deal.

Took fireworks photos in Boston. Worked well and very simple. Only used twice but very pleased.

This is a very nice & heavy keyboard. The mouse has some difficulty sensing my movements from time to time because of my desk top material (laminate wood). I will add a mouse pad for better performance. Overall, I have no complaints and am very pleased. The USB antenna was inside of the mouse, so look carefully and read the instructions.

This has been an excellent switch, and easily managed via the UniFi controller. The auto-sensing 802.3af ports (4 of them) are currently powering two access points and one Ubiquiti USW flex mini switch (USW-Flex-Mini), which is an awesome little 5 port switch in its own right. I'm able to set up separate port VLANS and other fun stuff on it. It's also a well built metal switch. It does get fairly hot, but not excessively, so you won't want to put it in a small, confined space without some air movement.

I have 5 POE devices and with full auto-sensing abilities I don't worry about lining up the device ports with the switch ports. Just plug and play! Integrates fully into the management software, a great, powerful and fun (to a geek like me) combination. I would have purchased the 24 port one except for the price --

Easy to setup and has many features like motion sensing, door/window open close and now even it comes with detection of glass break sound.

Purchased this to install a home office network and was not disappointed. All ports are auto sensing and POE. It was easy to set up. The only minor irritant is the power cord which if racked is not an issue but on a shelf in a home situation adds another 3” to the depth. An excellent quality product.
