The hinge is solid and well built and the board itself is very well designed. Used for the first last during the scifi film shootout here in Roswell and after so many claps from newbie 2nd ACs that don't respect other people's equipment its still going strong. 5 |

The ring light itself is is well built. The stand is light weight, but plenty strong for the light. The only weak point I see is the hinge which connects the light to the stand. The color and strength of the light is fantastic. It's intuitive to use. Wish it came with a remote, but overall I'm really happy with this purchase. 5 |

I built a star tracker out of a strap hinge to prove to myself that it would work. It did and I have outgrown the home made star tracker. This is the first one that I have ever used. I found it easy to setup, but you don't get a lot of lateral movement from the mount so you have to be pretty close to north before you start. Once setup it worked flawlessly. Three to five minute exposures at 24mm is no problem. I can set my ISO to 400 and get great star shots with virtually no noise. 5 |
