The Playseat performs exactly as claimed. When assembled it looks like a glorified lawn chair, but it functions quite well and feels surprisingly sturdy, at least for me at 150 lbs. Expect to have to be a bit creative to get everything to adapt to your needs - especially the assembly which holds your pedals. My Moza R5 wheelbase is a perfect fit. I leave the wheelbase and pedals attached when folding for storage. It requires some strength to lift the whole assembly and move it to storage. A larger wheelbase would make it even more challenging, and might be too much for some. One of the biggest surprises was that when in-game, when I roll over curbs and rough surfaces the FFB wheelbase transmits the vibrations quite strongly through the entire chair structure, heightening immersion. Kudos to B&H. This chair was ordered through Amazon by my wife as a Xmas gift. They sent her a large convex mirror, which made for quite a surprise for both of us when I opened it. She's still waiting for her refund. I ordered it through B&H the day after Xmas and had it in hand two days later, with free shipping! Well done B&H! 5 |
