You can tell this is a a quality lens as soon as it comes out of the package. The details are there, and well constructed. I took it out in west coast weather, and northern exposures and it was not an issue at all. Expensive but the value is there. I recommend this lens to anyone interested is landscapes or Astro.

I took this on a day trip out west, and the overcast weather suited the film perfectly. It's pretty grainy, as befitting a more retro-styled film, but it never overpowered the image.

Works well but after a little west on o-ring, it is hard to get completely on stud.

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use.
