This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape. 5 |

The champion of clamps, far and away better than any other brands. Manfrotto use to be the king but has since been dethroned. You can throw all kinds of weight at this thing, rock solid. Round bar, Square bar, railing, thick, thin, you name it, this clamp does it. You will not be disappointed, I've got 4 of these and plan to buy a few more as my portable audio rig expands in the future. You can rest assured that this clamp will do what you need it to. 5 |

B&W filters generally have brass rings, unlike the aluminum for other brands, and spin on more smoothly. Optically excellent. 5 |

After decades of trying other brands of filters - a number of other top-name brands included - I've settled on B W because they consistently get both parts of the filter right: The optical part and the physical mount part. The XS-Pro line has great coatings and glass as well as brass mounts that don't bind in the lens threads. That's a problem experienced with other filters, even other big- name filters that use anodized aluminum instead of brass for mounts. And B&H is the only place I'll buy B W filters since some very, very large non-photo-specialist retailers have had defective counterfeit filters branded as B W. 5 |

This is a nicely machined piece of brass. I've had other brands where I've had to re-thread the product before I could use them, a royal pain. The Manfrotto 013 didn't have that problem and I think worth the extra cost. 5 |

I love how well made these filters with brass rings are while not being really much more expensive than other brands. Very easy to clean with the nano coatings and offering a nice layer of protection. I shoot a lot outdoors in dusty gritty environments and I really do not like to risk polishing my lens' front element. 5 |

This brass ring is well made and the price was more reasonable than other brands. I am told that a ring made from brass will have less chance of thread seizing than an aluminum ring. 5 |
