Need I say any more? It works!! Excellent reproduction of Brass Instrument Sounds! How can this be possible at sub $100?? 5 |

This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape. 5 |

Extremely well built, smooth edges and corners. Almost makes me want to stain/lacquer it for the home. 5 |

Coming from MR5's Mk1 these are a great upgrade. Also more stylish for our studio than the JBL's or others that have that lacquer-finish plastic all over it. 5 |

I use this microphone daily for news gathering. This is a very durable microphone, the only reason we ever have to by new RE50s is due to the paint chipping off. These microphones have been dropped, kicked, covered in mud, and still keep working. 5 |

I primarily use the UV filter to protect my lenses from scratches & chipping (especially when I drop themI guess I'm a little clumsy). The UV filter was flat & stable, and easily threaded onto the lens. The polarizing filters are great as well, providing a good range between polarized & non-polarized usage. With both, I was not able to detect any degradation of clarity. 5 |
