Need I say any more? It works!! Excellent reproduction of Brass Instrument Sounds! How can this be possible at sub $100?? 5 |

This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape. 5 |

I have 4 of these now in different sizes and all seem to have good build quality. You can't really go wrong with a small metal ring. I went with brass and haven't had issues so far with sticking to filters (also brass) and they are thin but still have enough knurling on them for grip with gloves on. 5 |

Heliopan makes the best step-up rings I've found. Brass, not aluminum. I have multiple sizes so that I need only one or two sizes of ND, polarizer, and IR filters to fit all my lenses. 5 |

I have a Sunpak and a Hoya filter (each in smaller sizes), and even the Hoya feels less substantial than the B+W. I suppose the brass really does make a difference. It threads on very smoothly, and stays put even with incidental torque that would have otherwise loosened an aluminum ring. An added bonus is that the stock Canon lens cap fits snug with almost no play in the grip. Optics-wise, it's clear to the eye, so I can't complain. 5 |

B+W filters are the best out there: multicoated, neutral color, brass ring. At this size, you may as well get the best (at the larger filter sizes, B+W gets very expensive very fast). Heliopan also makes great filters. I find that the Tiffen filters give things a slight green tinge, and they flare much worse than B+W. 5 |

These are brass rings without knurling. In such large sizes it's not hard to grip the rings. These rings have heft to them, the quality is notable. 5 |

The mouthpiece is a standard, readily available scuba regulator mouthpiece that is easily replaced if that is needed in future. 5 |

This baby has a strong far reaching beam. It's light enough to use with the mouthpiece and keep it straight. Quality is tough to beat. 5 |

Like a pilot's mouthpiece. stops wind and breath effectively. No complaints. For those who can't envision what size 3/8 is, it's huge, grab a ruler. See if it works for your needs. You won't be hiding this in plain sight. 5 |
