This is a great product. It will be very useful for the Pagosa Springs, Colorado, historical society to clean up, restore, and preserve their historical negatives and get them printed for display in their museum. The only problem is that the second order for cleaning the large quantity of negatives is hung up at B&H waiting to receive the film clips part of the order that are needed to hang the negatives without causing any damage to the negatives. This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape. 5 |
