This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape. 5 |

We use our for the UTV … works great in the mountains.. and wooden hillsides too…. This is in Tennessee and Kentucky hills… at one time we were 8 miles apart and still the radio work great…. I wasn't ready to invest into a true macro at this time. I was going on a wildflower hike here in Tennessee and wanted to rent a macro from a lens companyuntil this showed up in Facebook newsfeed. I used this with a Canon nifty 50mm and was not happy with the results changed it over to my Sigma 18-250mm with macro capability and loved the results!! It will take more practice to get it right but would recommend this to beginning macro photographers on a budget. 5 |
