Great digital bridge camera with all the bells and whistles I need, and then some! Wasn't sure about the brand (Panasonic) at first but after playing with it for a while, it's as good as any brand of camera I've used and with the Leica lens, probably better.

After many weeks of research, this camera has lived up to all the positive reviews. It's very good for a bridge camera, many reviews stated that this a better video camera than a stills camera but I think it does both equally well. Most everything is like a DSLR except it has a fixed lens. But I was still able to shoot the moon with it, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

There are many cameras from which to choose but this bridge is a great selection! The digital zoom is huge as is the entire offering of functions. Yes you can only attach one lens however with an adapter 67mm Canon ring you have many choices of filters and add one. This camera rounds out my selection and is not heavy.

Digital Forecast Bridge X_TS V3 unit works very good. I had a slight issue of getting color bars (test signal) onto the HDMI output port. I contacted kameratools.com spoke to Technical Support and the issue was resolve successfully over on the phone in 2 minutes. it was just a menu setting issue. Now the unit can feed color bars to HDMI out connector.

I began looking for a lens to bridge the gap between my Sigma 20 and Tamron 35 f/1.4 to round out my set of primes. (Also have a Sigma 50 and 85) The big debate was between the Sigma 24 f/1.4 and Nikon 24 f'/1.8. After reading many reviews and ratings, I chose the Nikon. Most reviews agreed the two were very comparable, but the Nikon was smaller and lighter. Some were concerned the Nikon was not made in Japan. I believe the quality standards of Nikon are the same no matter where they are built. Others had forward focusing issues. I have not had any. I am extremely pleased with the lens.

Used this with an adapter in a really old Ivy Bridge system, and it works great. I read some reviews and benchmarks, which seemed to indicate that this was a pretty good value for its performance. The 5-year warranty is encouraging.

I was making the move from a digital all-in-one (and phone camera) to a mirrorless camera, and the reviews of this one really got me to look it over. I am so glad that I did! The Micro 4/3rds system makes it so much smaller and more portable than full frame systems, and Canon includes so many helpful ways for a novice to learn while taking pictures with this model. The 'scene' and 'AP' modes start you with presets for taking certain types of photos, and the Info button can be used to toggle on or off a helpful blurb about almost every option. The lens options for this camera are also fantastic. There are so many great lenses out there, and the prices AND size/weight of them is so much more reasonable than larger camera models. The OM-D E-M10 is not for a professional photographer (though the higher end models certainly seem to be) but for someone who aspires to be a more serious hobby photographer, I think it's a GREAT way to launch.
