This is an excellent data projector for someone who likes to display their work onto a large screen. Super bright and easy to carry.

I have about a 17 ft square family room with windows and ceiling ductwork. I needed something very bright so my wife would sit with me watching movies or (more importantly) my hockey games. She refuses to sit in the dark, and has to be able to read her magazines. The very short throw table top projector with 2300 lumens on a 109 1.1 gain screen works great. Sitting 15 ft from the screen means I don't need 1080p for a clear picture. I never use the bright setting, as the color gets too muddy, and it should make the lamp last longer. The lack of adjustments mean you really would not want to put it in a fixed position from a ceiling mount. Small movement is a big change in the picture. And as it ships inside a backpack, it really is portable so I will be taking it to my remote cabin. The screen and projector set me back about a quarter of the price of the 61 sony rear projection 275 lb system I bought in 1999 that this replaces.

I wanted an extremely bright, highly portable projector for a presentation in a very well-lit room. This projector is the brightest I have seen and has an intuitive, effective wedge-eliminating set of controls. It functioned immediately after connecting to my 2021-M1 MacBook Pro.

Really enjoying this projector in our media room. Bright colors even with light leaks and white walls.

This projector is awesome. Clarity and brightness are fantastic. We have this in a room with a lot of natural light and it’s bright enough to see during the day without having to close the blinds. Clarity of picture is amazing. Very happy with this purchase!!!

We love this projector. We got it for our living room, and daily use. It has performed well, is fairly bright in the day time. No complaints.

This projector is bright enough to see in a room with the lights on and gives great clarity. Just what we needed. Also, the pricing here is better than local big box stores!

Ok, so this is a very great projector, got it for my 15th birthday, i have it for my ROOM!!! This thing is great, i have this projector sitting a little over 8' away, which is pretty close, and guess what! it projects a 6' (72 inches) diagonal screen, Also this projector is WXGA, which is like XGA (720p), but it's widescreen which make it better for watching movies, also it has a maximum resolution that is 1080P, which really doesn't mean anything. This is a very good projector for just my room. I would recommend a different projector if you are going to project a screen bigger that 13' diagonal, because since it's only 720P it might look bad. Check this before you buy a screen, this virtual throw distance is pretty accurate. The projector is VERY bright, even in eco mode, which means your bulb can last 6,000 hours. I have this connected to my ps3 with an HDMI cable, and my desktop with a VGA cables. You will be very happy with this little thing, i have used it for about 22 hours, it also has a hour counter, if you use this for 5 hours every day you can last about 4 years, I have had this for a little more than 2 weeks, will report again in about one year,

I wanted the most bang for buck i could find with clear image without spending a fortune on home entertainment. I have ceiling mounted set up projecting from the lounge ceiling into a open plan room 3.6m X 3.2M which i call my cinema room (my girlfriend calls it the dinning room). I set the projector at 4.1m which almost fills the 3.2M width of the room. I used the ceiling paint we had and followed it down to the far wall as a screen i bordered it top and bottom with the wall colour (dark olive green)but left the sides as i did not know the projection dimensions of the screen. I thought i would trial that way 1st before buying specific screen paint for the job however i am more than happy with the results with the current set up. The image is crystal clear with rich colours i have not noticed any rainbow effect at the edges of the image. I had read on a review don't look for it as when you do see it, it will be annoying, well i couldn't resist trying to see it and i don't. I would fully recommend this product it exceeds my expectations so much so that i don't bother to have it set to its full potential mainly to preserve lamp life, personally i have not played with any of the advanced settings to optimise the picture quality as i find the ' out of the box' settings are brilliant as they are. I understand that with a few hundred hours on the lamp the picture improves again at the moment i only have 30hrs. The menus are intuitive and the instruction manual is easy to understand and relates well to the screen menus. I like the white sleek design of the projector making is less obtrusive to the room ( blends nicely with the ceiling , white HDMI leads would be nice). from the reviews i read it is not the quietest projector on the market however we sit directly underneath the projector and i do not find the faint fan noise distracting to the viewing experience in fact i believe it enhances the cinematic ambience....
