Broadcast Listener Application On Computer Windows

My application isn't super demanding but we needed a way to hear our broadcast better in our media room. Unit did everything I wanted it to. Love that it is rackable. Was more than loud enough for my application.

I use this with a Neumann BCM 104 in a broadcast application. Yep, a twenty-dollar windscreen on a thousand-dollar mic. It fits like it was designed specifically for that microphone. While the 104 has it own internal windscreen, it is occasionally overwhelmed by my enthusiasm. This wrap-around windscreen from Auray works really well, and it's a fraction of the WS47 windscreen Neumann offers for the 104. It would work equally well with the BCM 705, which is exactly the same form factor.

I could not upgrade the firmware from Godox through my windows 10. So after a computer professional looked over the situation said that Windows 10 would not recognize the upgrade due to the time Godox wrote the firmware upgrade. He used Windows 7 and the firmware upgrade worked.

For application as described, it is made of paper and huge plastic windows to read labels on disk. For the price and materials used, it is ok.

I bought this monitor in the beginning of 2022 to enhance my work from home setup. Realizing that I will spend so much time using my computer, I really looked forward to making that experience as enjoyable as possible. Previously, I was using a 1080 ultra wide monitor and it just wasn't working for me. I was having to constantly make larger head movements to see text on the outside edges of that monitor. I went with this 4K monitor and I found that it serves my purposes better because I get more height in my application windows and with the 4K resolution, I can still have multiple application windows open and visible at the same time. I bought this monitor over the model with the Ergo stand included because I already had a slim monitor arm that works well for my desk area, and I didn't need all the additional features of the Ergo model. This is a great monitor for me and I recommend it! If you don't already have a monitor arm or need USB-C connectivity, then the Ergo model is the way to go.
