Broken Headphone Wire Rebooting Mac

Connects my Mac Mini headphone out to external speakers.

The boom pole feels expensive. If the wire gets broken, you have many ways to get inside to replace or fix it. The rubber at the bottom is a huge bonus for when you rest it on the floor.

My headphone jack was broken on my admittedly old laptop. This enabled me to still use headphones for a small cost, and not replace the whole computer. I can also confirm that it works via a USB hub.

I can used wire and wireless Works in my PC and MAC without problems

I use this cable to connect various components to the headphone or mic jacks on my computer. This cable seems to be well made with fairly heavy wire and quality cable ends. I haven't had it long enough to discover how well it will hold up over time, but I expect it last as long as I don't abuse it.

The sound you'd expect from a more expensive pair of headphones. I'm a bit of a headphone fanatic, but wanted something that would pair well with my mic and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. While most headphones would do the job, I wanted these to be comfortable but not 100% noise cancelling. These fit that bill perfectly. The collapsible design is a bonus. They sound great - no distortion and are quite responsive to fine tuning adjustments to ensure accurate and quality output. My only concern is the wire from the head pad to each headphone. I'm always afraid I'm going to pull it out. However, this has not been an issue. I should note the wire appears because when you adjust the headphones there is a grooved metal (steel?) adjustment band that is exposed. I like it because they stay put and you aren't constantly having to readjust them. The coiled cable is very long and high quality. The adapter for the plug screws into place to ensure, again, a good connection without any loss of sound quality.

It runs quieter and faster than my older Mac Pro. It has the power to handle my Photo images. The thing I miss is the 400 Fire Wire connections. This new model only has 800 Fire Wire Connections. They could have put in at least one 400 to 800 adapter for the price.

My mom uses computer speakers connected to the headphone jack on her Mac Mini. The jack failed (evidently this isn't uncommon). As an inexpensive workaround, I picked up this USB audio adapter, and it worked like a charm. Even plugged into a USB hub, it stays recognized and selected in the Sound System Preferences pane even after rebooting and waking from sleep.
