Brother 2200 Dl Printer

Our second Brother printer, would not have anything else !

Brother printer needs to use brother ink. I bought another brand ink that did not work.

This is my second Brother MFC printer and I have been very happy with both (so far on new one)

I used this on a documentary project for college and i'm very pleased, to say the least. I printed with an Epson 2200 printer and the sharpness and color accuracy were right on. A great buy for anyone looking to present prints in a brightly lit area. The luster finish allows for a similar depth of tones and detail while avoiding its gloss and sheen. One small heartbreak I experienced - one that I assume anyone who did what I did would - was how easily the prints scratch. I dropped it on the ground, and though I lifted it very very carefully, it still was scuffed from the initial impact. I had to reprint, but that did afford me a chance to witness firsthand how consistently the paper prints.

I finally had to find a replacement for my Stylus Photo 2200. It didn’t die , I just couldn’t find light magenta ink, in fact I bought it 17 years ago. Never had a problem even after periods of time months of non use. Maybe one head cleaning and right back to printing. Loved this printer. I bought the P700 (6/6/2020) as a replacement, Easy to set up (I read instructions) downloaded software charged printer surprised at a low ink warning appearing-not really. Went to order full set of ink no it available. But proceeded to print a few images previously set up for the 2200. WOW is all I can say, compared thru a 10X Loupe amazed. I do prints of my paintings. (Ink order coming tomorrow) Hope I get 17 years of service out of this so far it’s beyond my expectations. Have allot of printing coming up will update after 40 -50 prints.

This paper used with an Epson Color Stylus Printer like the Epson 2200 or 3800 printers produce outstanding colors and tones with fantastic sharpness and saturation. Ink usage is not bad at all. You cannot tell if the image is a film image or digital because the detail is so good.
