Brother 4100E Printing All Black Pages

This is one of the best choices out there for a B&W All-in-One. We go through a Brother All-n-One every two years and get the rated 100,000 pages out of them with zero down-time and no breakdowns. This is a communal, open-access device and is used for printing, copying, scanning, and Faxing. Just use any decent multi-purpose copy paper. Although the DR-820 drum is rated for only 30,000 pages you can actually get 50,000 pages out of them if you read the fine print in the Brother literature. Calculating using the B&H cost for the L5800DW, TN-850 toners and a DR-820 drum I found that it costs about 2.5 cents/page for each page printed over the 100,000 page lifetime not counting the cost of the paper. The latest Brother 5000-series (like the L5800DW) are very speedy in printing and scanning and just about jam-proof. The one advantage of the L5800DW is that it does not have a duplexing document feeder which can be prone to jamming if you try to feed junky paper documents into them. The duplex, two-sided printing works flawlessly over the 100,000 lifetime. The only reason we bought this one is that it replaced the equivalent Brother All-in-One unit that I bought 9 years ago and had made its 100,000 pages.

My Brother ink cartridge provides numerous pages of clearly printing data. It is long lasting and I consider it a great value.

The HP printer is really good at printing speeds, and easy setup. The HP 4001n is capable of high-volume printing, up to 4,000 pages monthly. Comes with HP’s original toner cartridge that able to print up to 2900 pages. Some things to note before purchasing are: No Wi-Fi built-in. The printer connects to USB and Ethernet only. Laser toner cartridges may be more expensive; however, they last much longer depending on print output. This printer is perfect for a small team that requires black and white printing at high volumes. Perfect budget conscious printer that can produce high quality black and white prints.

I tried printing a bunch of documents totally to over 112 pages and it definitely print 41 to 42 pages per minute but solely in black and white ink. The ink it uses is the 148a toner cartridge which prints out vividly black output and uses laser to print. I love the copy and automatic two sided printing and scanning features which I use for my small business at home. You also do not need to refill the paper tray all the time because it can hold up to 350 papers.

I attend college full time but I am a fully online student, so it is imperative that I have a printer that functions, and that functions well. Set up is super easy, it gives you step by step directions, and I have this printer hooked up to my phone my laptop and my tablet and I have no problem printing from all three of those devices. The color pages that I print are fabulous! The black and white are great. So far it has not missed a beat! I have printed,scanned, and sent a mobile fax with it and have it ran into any issues or complications with any of those three methods. I would say the back of it would hold 50 to 60 pages of printing paper. I also love that it comes with the instant ink option, which also is very convenient and easy to use. This is a great printer for little small spaces or even big spaces. I would say that it prints about 6 or 7 pages a minute in black and white. Now call her on the other hand takes a little while longer, but that's to be expected. So as of right now it is meeting my expectations. I'm actually rather fond of it.

2/3 of a stop is a good value for my needs. the full stop was too much and 1/3 not enough at all.
