Replaced an older Brother. (mfc-9970 cdw) This model has better copies. It is a lot quieter than the 9970. Only issue, it is slower to print and make copies. I did not play around with it to see if I can speed it up. Pulled it out of the box and plugged it in. 5 |

I have gotten approximately 5,000 copies on this black cartridge. Brother is giving the consumer a cartridge that has a long life and ink dries so that water drops do not smear. Brother's support for my MFCJ6555DW printer has been outstanding even after I broke the MP tray assembly. It is rare to see a company support a home customer with such versatile printer. As a professional orchestra musician this is the ONLY printer that allows me to scan, enlarge or print sheet music parts for Organ, Cello and Contrabass on ledger size paper. This is by far the BEST PRINTER. I will never but another HP, Canon or other printers, 5 |

it's the real deal high capacity toner from Brother. I'm using it in a campaign and we need to print a few hundred copies in miunets. the printer this is used in gets it done as fast as most any copier and is portable enough to take on site, that's huge allowing us to print just in time and avoid just in case printing 5 |
