Purchased Brother HLL2480DW Wireless Black and White Laser Printer after with have an HP printer for a long time. What a difference! Easy set up and troubleshooting, quick printing and print quality.

I switched from a color printer to a Brother black & white laser a few years ago. The printer is for my personal use and doesn't get excessive use. The print quality is great and the toner lasts a long time.

If you have an Epson 3880 printer, you will know the inkset well. I use the Advanced Black and White mode a lot for B&W prints, and the printer is still working extremely well for me. In ABW the linearity is excellent, prints beautifully and can differentiate very low levels of gray from black. The newer inksets from Epson and Canon report even better black density with higher Dmax, and if that is your holy grail you can go that way or off the deep end loading third party inks and struggling with profiling accuracy. But I bought the 3880 for the then-remarkable and still-respectable longevity of the pigment inks, and it continues to be reliable and clog free, it feeds paper well and it wastes much less ink than modern desktops, so I have not replaced it.

I have a good assortment of 52mm filters (ND, UV, black and white contrast, etc) that I have had for years. I recently began using some old Voigtlander and Leica lens with 39 mm threads and this step-up ring works well. I usually stay away from aluminum rings because of their tendency to stick after being in place for a long period of time. But I use a dab of lubricant on this ring's threads and have never had a sticking problem.

I use it for both color and black/white images on an Epson printer. Terrific results.

This ink works just as expected, and without it, my printer won’t print anything not even in black-and-white.

This was a replacement for the black cartridge that came with my Brother HL-3170CDW color laser printer. Super easy to install. User oriented design. Works great. Brother printers are great.
