It is a rarity that I must change cartridges on my Brother copier. I mentioned how much I enjoy it to other ministers and they have also purchased the DCP. I always order a cartridge when I take the spare off the shelf. 5 |

I use it with a Sennheiser MKH 8060 and it works well. 5 |

I chose the MKH 8060 shotgun to use with my Canon XF100 for run & gun situations. It is a great match for size and weight. It is only 7 inches long. I have only used the mic a few times so I cannot comment on the sound quality yet, however I understand that it is comparable to the MKH-416, which is an excellent mic. 5 |

I use this card for playback in a color correction suite. It works great. The two main reasons I got this card specifically are 1) Supports 4:4:4 color at 2K and 4K DCP aspects. 2) Simultaneous HDMI and SDI output. This second reason is important to me because our color suite doubles as a DCP screening room. For DCP's the image is sent thru the SDI to a projector and the 5.1 audio is sent thru the HDMI to a surround preamp. Works perfectly. 5 |

I did a lot of investigating before I chose my DCP-L5650DN. It had all the features I needed and some I am still discovering after 3 years! Awesome product. 5 |

Used to ship a DCP on a CRU drive to venues. A solid casewaterproof, durable. Simply zip tie it shut, attach a label, and off it goes. The bright orange color helps it stand out. 5 |

For the past 4 years, Ive used all Rode gear, especially the NTG3, which I grew to love. Then, on a recent shoot for a client, it stopped working. I got it fixed and it remains an important part of my arsenal, but the experience made me think about an upgrade, and then using the NTG3 as a backup. It was a very difficult decision to make, since, for whatever reason, its way easier to justify the purchase of a 2k lens than it is a higher end microphone. Weird. Finally though, after a lot of deliberation and tests, and I got the 8060. The main word that comes to mind after using this on a few shoots is: Wow. Its small, light, and draws very little attention to itself. Its far shorter than the NTG3. And this mic makes dialogue sound like you were actually there when you re-listen to the footage. Its hard to believe. There are a lot of times now where I dont bother using a lav at all since I know this mic will capture exactly what I want. What Im getting at is that, as much as I liked the NTG3, the 8060 blows it out of the water. Theres no comparison. As a one person crew a lot of times operating in dangerous locations around the world, its important to keep a low profile, while also capturing the best audio possible under difficult circumstances. If thats what youre looking for, look no further. This mic will seriously change the way you think about, and plan for audio on shoots. Dont get me wrong, a good lav does wonders in a lot of situations as well, but I found this mic to be ultra clear, and perfect for my purposes. It was also amazing for ambient pickup, and slightly off axis pick when people are having a conversation. If youre on the fence about this, two words of advice: dont be. Its maybe the greatest equipment purchase Ive made in the last 4 years. 5 |
