Brother Generic Print Driver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We print a lot of labels on a weekly basis and lately, to save on costs we went with generic labels but decided to go back to the Brother Genuine DK-1208 Large Die-Cut Address Labels because the quality of the Brother labels is so much better. Not only does the roll fit without any issue in the printer, but the difference in quality between the generic and the Brother labels is night and day. The Brother labels are easier to peel and are definitely nicer than the cheaper one we used. Overall, we are very happy with these labels and will no longer go for the generic brands.

I am really happy with this monitor.� I was reluctant to spend the money on it, but now am happy that I did.� I use this monitor mostly for office work but also some photo editing.� The large screen is really nice when you have multiple documents open and arranged so everything is visible.� Photos are as clear and sharp as I have ever seen.� I am connected to my on board video through a HDMI version 1.4b port.� I was prepared to purchase a separate video card, but the monitor is working great without it.� With the version 1.4b, the monitor is refreshing at only 29 Hz. but for my uses, I can't tell the difference.� The buttons on the back of the panel are accessible for setup and out of the way for normal use.� Some previous reviews mentioned that the monitor doesn't have speakers, but I can assure you that it does, and they sound good.� It may be that the other users just didn't set up the audio to their input source.� I plugged into the HDMI 1 connection and my Windows 10 system found it and loaded a generic driver without any input from me.� I then downloaded the Viewsonic driver and installed it with no issues.� I could not visually tell a difference between the generic and specific drivers.� Overall, I would recommend this monitor to a friend.

I have tried many of the generic cartridges over the years, but always come back to the brother brand cartridges that outperform and outlast all the generics for a cost savings in the end! Innobella rules!

Brother Toner works well in Brother printers; however, OTC generic brands at a much reduced price also work well. That said, there is one application that one requires original Brother toner. That is printing on blue transfer sheets for making printed circuit board etching masks. In this process, one inserts a sheet of blue transfer paper in the Brother printer, and prints the line and land pattern 1:1 scale, on the blue transfer, and then irons the transfer on copper printed circuit board at 300 F. This transfer process does NOT work with generic toner because characteristics of toner fusion and density differ from Brother. Transferred generic media is thin (not dense) and adheres poorly, whereas Brother toner works wonderfully.

its a great printer overal the only issue ive had is when i use generic labes that i didnt buy from brother the machine doesnt know what it is so i had to mess with the ptouch edditor to get it to work other than that its awesome

generic brands always fuzzy text-not with HP cartridge, even small print sharp

I have tried generic toner several times and have always been disappointed. If you print photos, the colors are never right. Also, I have experienced toner leakage that ruins my documents and damages my printer, I have learned my lesson and will never buy store brand or generic brands again.

I have purchased generic cartridge refills in the past and find that they do not print as dark as the HP, and if I choose the printer's economode setting, shaded areas are barely perceptible. So I have returned to the original HP cartridge. By shopping online, I save gas, time and energy.

B&H has the best price on this brand new high capacity print cartridge from HP. I've tried using generic and recycled cartridges in the past with less than perfect results. Best to go with the new HP product from B&H.
