Purchased Brother HLL2480DW Wireless Black and White Laser Printer after with have an HP printer for a long time. What a difference! Easy set up and troubleshooting, quick printing and print quality.

This was a replacement for the black cartridge that came with my Brother HL-3170CDW color laser printer. Super easy to install. User oriented design. Works great. Brother printers are great.

I switched from a color printer to a Brother black & white laser a few years ago. The printer is for my personal use and doesn't get excessive use. The print quality is great and the toner lasts a long time.

Brother makes a great Laser color printer, so you'd expect them to make great cartridges. AND they do!

Their toner is expensive compared to ink but you get so much more from it. End of the day i dont use my printer to print photos and need a reliable full house printer for kids school projects and what have you.

It's been over a decade since I've used or even heard of any laser printer under $1000 with a toner cost of less than 2 cents per page, let alone a *color* laser. This cartridge changes all that. At only 1.5 cents/page before taxes, it allows my Color LaserJet CP3525 to print black and white pages cheaper than the venerable LaserJet 4050 (1.9 cents/page) that I loved back in the day. Not to mention the amazing print quality. Grayscale dithering easily matches the ProRes 1200 of HP's high-end mono printers in terms of detail and smoothness, but completely blows it out of the water when it comes to contrast and depth. In fact, printed grayscale photos look like real black and white photographs! Yes, color toner for the CP3525 series is still very expensive (like almost all color laser printers), but that's not what this review is about. For black and white prints, it can't be beat. Highly recommended over the standard capacity cartridge.

After much agonizing over types, styles, prices and brand names I arrived at what would be best for my situation... instead of ink jet or mega tank the laser printer won. Now ...what kind? I chose Brother and Im thrilled at the outcome. I dont print much anymore but when I do its going to be something essential . The laser is ready , boots up smoothly, prints quickly and the page is sharp and clear. I did have a slight problem in setup., which was downloaded from the Brother site. It asked for some number that was supposedly on the printer somewhere.....it was not. So I kept looking and found another Brother site for setup and this one worked beautifully. Ot only took a minute or so and it was ready to rock. Since then Ive printed several pages for both written word and artist reditions of animals to use for hobby work and all came out perfectly. I even like the size.of the printer which has a footprint about the same dimensions as my old ink jet., but with a distinctive more compact style. And for the price I paid.....I'm super impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this printer today. Unpacking was easy. I set the LaserJet MFP M234dw printer up in less than 20 minutes. Note: If you are going to use this printer as both a wifi printer and a USB-connected printer! Please connect wifi before plugging it into a USB port of pc. It will save you some time. Next, I tested the printer out by sending a 15-page document through my printer. It began to print 4 seconds after pressing the print button. It took a bit longer when I sent the same document (double-sided). Next, I printed a few envelopes, printing envelopes was easier than I thought., my last laser printer gave me fits. The footprint of this printer was ideal, it fits on the top of my two-drawer file cabinet without any overhang. The scanner copied a page without any problems or smears. I was able to send a photo to my PC easily. This is a great laser printer for all that I need to do. It's perfect for my home business.

Full duplex print/copy/scan with B/W laser printer, very low cost/page, readily available toner and drum, simple installation and operation make this the printer/scanner/FAX of choice for low to moderate pages/month.
