Brother Mobile Printer Scanner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. This machine is AMAZING!!! Throw away your old scanner. This scanner is from the future. The scanner scans 2 sides of a document at the same time, effortlessly, at the push of a button. You have the option to save the documents as a JPEG file as well as a PDF. You also can choose whether to scan as a grayscale image as well as color. The scanner comes with a wireless SSID that connects your mobile device to the scanner for documents on the go. It literally scans documents and uploads them to your mobile device. The Brother iPrint&Scan app puts you in control whether at home, in office or on the go. You can either upload the documents to your mobile device or save them to a microSD card for later use. It`s lightening fast. Like, seriously fast. I scan documents in as little as 6 seconds. The scanner also has a function that puts it into continuous scan mode for when you`re connected to your desktop or laptop computer. That allows the user to scan large amounts of documents at one time. It`s probably the most versatile document scanner in the world. I`m a huge fan of Brother products. I already have a printer that has scanning capabilities. This scanner has come into my home and has replaced our existing scanner. It seriously performs that well.

I really like and use a lot of the options that are available on this printer/copier/scanner/fax. I previously owned another Brother machine that had performed well, but this one is even better.

I resell Brother printers all the time. This one went to a customer that requested another Brother all-in-one printer/scanner. They are thrilled with this one and the one they have had for several years. I highly recommend Brother printers.

I purchased this printer to replace an old Brother laser jet. Since my old Epson scanner was no longer compatible with the current OS, I liked that this printer had the ability to scan as well. Setup was super-easy out of the box. I'm in a Mac environment, and I had no problem whatsoever getting it up and running. The printer is much faster than my old one - faster to warm up and to print. Quality is great, although the color is a bit dark and off. I'm sure I can adjust this, but haven't looked into it yet. The scanner works great, but be aware that you must sign up for an HP account in order to be able to scan. Overall, no regrets with this purchase. It serves its purpose and meets my needs.

After reviewing various consumer product rating publications I selected this Brother MFC-L8610CDW based on both predicted reliability and features. I'm glad I did - it is working great as my primary home printer/scanner. I have two computers (one iMac and one MacBook Air) connected to the printer via WiFi. I did have to reinstall the Brother driver software and fiddle a bit to get the scanner button on the device to connect with my computers. The trick was to make sure, when you attempt the first scan from the MFC-L8610CDW, to go back to your computer and pres "accept" on the two firewall security messages that will show up. After that, everything worked great!

Our second Brother printer, would not have anything else !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love Brother brand, they make the best printers and scanners. My work uses all Brother printers. This scanner is just magnificent, super easy to set up, took me less than 2 minutes to do. I connected mine to wifi and was able to print it without any issues, prints comes out in high quality and straight, settings are easy to navigate thanks to touchscreen and it has all of the options you need. Scan to server, scan to SMP, scan to email, and etc., You can control the settings through the scanner itself, through app or a brother software utility on your PC. It does come with all the cables that you need to get it to work without wifi but my suggestion would be if you buying this, use the wifi, you can scan it anywhere. Set up a printer, download the brother full package software, install it and bam you have a wonderful scanner. Highly recommend it for businesses and even just for everyday home use. Definitely worth a price

I used the Kodak Mobile Film Scanner to scan my color negatives into my collection of pictures. I have the prints but laying them out on my MFD printer/scanner was tedious and hard to get the pictures lined up right. It was much easier, and less physical, and about four times faster to run my negatives through the Kodak Mobile Film Scanner. The Kodak phone app is well thought out and works well with the little scanner box. The app provides several useful imaging tools to fine-tune the image once you've scanned it. But the image quality it produces is good to begin with. I found that all I used was the image cropping. I wouldn't call the user interface intuitively obvious, but it is easy to figure out. I am very pleased with this purchase. It has made it much easier to get many more of my original film pictures onto my hard drive.

Great printer and scanner!

Brother printer needs to use brother ink. I bought another brand ink that did not work.
