Brother P Touch Embellish Ribbon Printer

This is the best P-touch yet Brother out done them self with this one.

I had an earlier Brother P-touch Cube printer, and liked it. But this one is so much better. The printing is so fast, the resolution is so high. I also like that it's USB C rather than micro-USB, and that it doesn't need print drivers in Mac OS. I thought the ability to use 36mm labels would be its best feature but honestly, I rarely need those.

I have owned a Brother P-touch label printer for many years. The machine has given impeccable service and is my go-to device. Recently I bought myself a new P-touch Cube Plus. Not because there was anything wrong with the old one, but for my son's residence. Being able to compose labels on my phone is a huge plus. The keyboard on the old device is limited. While I mastered it over the years, the convenience of using my phone is head and shoulders above. Removing the backing to expose the adhesive is better in the new system. Instead of needing to fumble with the edge of the tape, just bending it along its length is much easier and nicer. One oddity that I do not understand is why, when printing a label, the machine cuts off a blank piece of label material about 1/2 inch long. That seems unnecessary and wasteful to me. And the UI for composing labels on my phone could use some improvement. It is a trifle clunky to my taste.

I bought this as a replacement for an old Brother P-Touch I had for years. I am very impressed with this printer. I've used it with Windows, Mac, my iPhone and my iPad and all work great. I bought this as a kit that included a case, the rechargeable battery, the printer, and two label cartridges. I'm very happy with the flexibility this provides. I've printed barcodes, graphic images, text, you name it. I would definitely buy this again.

Our second Brother printer, would not have anything else !

i purchased the mxl r77 ribbon mic for my brother as a gift, he's a saxophone player and of you are a saxophonist you know it is difficult to capture the essence of your horn, most of the the it doesn't sound right. Unless your using top of the line Neumann or other high quality mic with a high quality price tag. This mic is a great addition to our recording studio, I've used it along side our sterling st69 and it completes that missing part ive been looking for. I bought the mxl r144 ribbon, it's a great mic but after buying the r77 there is no comparison.it works just as amazing on vocals too, adds warmth, depth, some dimension to the voice, definitely wouldn't need any help from computer enhancement, it has it's own natural sound. I wanted another Brother so I could use the utilities I already have. It works great and they eliminated the print ribbon errors with the old machine . The scan allows more options to store documents. Very happy with the new product.

Printer works as expected, simple to load with paper and ribbon. Works very well with the Mac printer driver. Prints have great color and they print pretty quickly. I have printed to it from Lightroom, Capture 1 Pro and Photoshop and had no issues.

Brother printer needs to use brother ink. I bought another brand ink that did not work.
