Brother P700 Printer Driver

P700 is a first-class label printer. Does everything expected of it. Worth more than the purchase price. Have four other Brother printers. You may count me as a satisfied customer. I will be purchasing from Brother in the future.

This is my second purchase from Brother and once again the product lives up to what Brother said it would do. The PT-P700 is one of the simplest machines to operate that I have ever experienced. Easy to connect and easy to operate, a winner.

Brother printer needs to use brother ink. I bought another brand ink that did not work.

My new P700 Epson Printer for almost $900 came with Starter Inks (Initial Cartridges). Translated; Initial Cartridges means NOT MUCH INK. So buying a full set of full cartridges was paramount to printing success. B&H had the inks and better yet they were delivered fast.

I am Very pleased with my Epson SureColor P700 13 Photo Printer I purchased when my Epson Stylus Photo R3000 needed to be replaced. As an artist and photographer, I needed a printer that used pigment ink and could print up to an 11 x 14 high quality art print or photo. I loved the advanced black and white photo settings on my old printer and was concerned that the P700 would not give me the same beautiful warm settings, but it does. The P700 also selects the correct black without priming (& wasting ink) every time you switch between photo and matte settings. The ink in the photos has a nice, consistent gloss. The matte prints are also gorgeous! The P700 has 10 ink cartridges which are a bit expensive but considering that it only uses a little from each when printing, more will last longer than less. Unlike the R3000, the P700 has a maintenance tank (a spare one is included) that collects expelled ink from cleaning, etc. The printer has a set of starter cartridges included for use in the initial set-up...there will be some ink left in these when set-up is complete, but not a lot. This is not an everyday printer for just anything but if you need a nice printer for fine quality prints of your art or photography, this may be the perfect choice for you.

I had an older PT printer but it was not compatible with my new iMac. So I ordered the PT-P700 due to it's compact size and brand experience. I have not been disappointed. Simply to install and use, I am very happy with this table maker. Tape is not too expensive either. Prints high quality labels that stay on, and when the time comes to remove them, they don't leave tape residue.

My old R1900 finally gave up the ghost and it was time to get another photo printer. After a lot of comparing between this model and the P700, I finally chose the P900. Don't know if I will ever print at 17 inches wide, 13 has always met my needs. However, after some number crunching, the cost of the ink was the deciding factor for me. It seems operating this printer will be less expensive in the not too distance future. The extra cost of this printer over the P700 will be off set inside of about two ink changes so why not go for the better printer? As well, the output is stunning - simply beautiful.
