I found the get started guide easy to follow and very helpful. I was able to complete the setup in a very short period of time. I was able to do a test print from a Microsoft Word document with so much ease. The printer settings did not have to be adjusted at all. The colors were very vibrant, and I am happy with this purchase. I think the app is probably beneficial to some, but I personally do not like having to do creative things on a phone or having to download yet another app. My preference would be a desktop or online. version. Thankfully, I can still use the printer with the many desktop applications that I have. It appears that there is a scanner function, but I have not seen anything referencing it; I think it would be really cool to do a direct scan and print. 5 |

Their toner is expensive compared to ink but you get so much more from it. End of the day i dont use my printer to print photos and need a reliable full house printer for kids school projects and what have you. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brother HL-L2480BDW: My husband and I were very impressed with our brother printer! It was packaged extremely securely, but still easy to unpack and physically setup. I liked that the styrofoam didn't get everywhere. Getting connected to the wifi and my laptop was similarly very easy. We went from unpacking to printing in about 7 min. Prints quickly with extremely good quality. I Would definitely recommend this brother model if you’re looking for an at home or small business office printer. 5 |
