Brother printer needs to use brother ink. I bought another brand ink that did not work.

I have had brother printers for a long time, and have tried third party toners and drum units, but all of them have failed in some way or the other. The original drum unit in my Brother DCP-L2540DW was at least 6 years old, and the printer has been my main printer. It has had fairly heavy use at times. The prints started having toner dumps on the page, with streaks, and blotches. After changing the drum unit, it is printing like new again. Will keep this printer for as long as it continues to work.

I've used many Brother Printers over the years and have found them to be very functional, hardworking, long lasting units. This printer is no exception. The only negative I have about this printer is that it won't do automatic duplex scanning. You have to duplex scan manually. Other than that, this is a terrific printer.

I am using this cartridge in a new Brother MFC L2740DW. It is a very powerful combination of quality and long lasting cartridge, and excellent printer. I also purchased the printer from B&H. It is reliable as a fax, printer and scanner. Copies are crisp and clear. The wireless setup and functioning is flawless. Great combination for my small business. The People at B&H were very helpful in matching my needs with a quality machine for a good price.

I've had this Brother printer for several years, and I always buy the Brother brand toner cartridge. It's amazing how long it lasts. They also also allow you to return the old cartridge for recycling free of charge. No complaints--just what I need.
