After much agonizing over types, styles, prices and brand names I arrived at what would be best for my situation... instead of ink jet or mega tank the laser printer won. Now ...what kind? I chose Brother and Im thrilled at the outcome. I dont print much anymore but when I do its going to be something essential . The laser is ready , boots up smoothly, prints quickly and the page is sharp and clear. I did have a slight problem in setup., which was downloaded from the Brother site. It asked for some number that was supposedly on the printer somewhere.....it was not. So I kept looking and found another Brother site for setup and this one worked beautifully. Ot only took a minute or so and it was ready to rock. Since then Ive printed several pages for both written word and artist reditions of animals to use for hobby work and all came out perfectly. I even like the size.of the printer which has a footprint about the same dimensions as my old ink jet., but with a distinctive more compact style. And for the price I paid.....I'm super impressed. 5 |
