Brother Printer Replace Laser Fuser Error Message

We kept getting the message to clean our drums, but printer would not acknowledge this after the cleaning...Once the new drums were installed, the error message went away.

I purchased this printer to replace an old Brother laser jet. Since my old Epson scanner was no longer compatible with the current OS, I liked that this printer had the ability to scan as well. Setup was super-easy out of the box. I'm in a Mac environment, and I had no problem whatsoever getting it up and running. The printer is much faster than my old one - faster to warm up and to print. Quality is great, although the color is a bit dark and off. I'm sure I can adjust this, but haven't looked into it yet. The scanner works great, but be aware that you must sign up for an HP account in order to be able to scan. Overall, no regrets with this purchase. It serves its purpose and meets my needs.

EASY TO REPLACE. NO ERROR MESSAGE. BOUGHT 2 DIFFERENT BRANDS FROM @ AND RETURNED BOTH. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY FOR THIS ONE.

I use this on anything in which I want a secure tape and the ability to remove without residue. An example is my Epson printer. The front load paper slot broke. This triggered an error message on the printer such that I could not utilize the printer. This is a printer that costs over $1,000. I utilized this tape to close the feeder securely which got rid of the error message. I am hopeful that I will still be able to utilize my printer for a number of years before having to replace it. I figure the total cost to fix was about 10 cents.

Brother makes a great Laser color printer, so you'd expect them to make great cartridges. AND they do!

Their toner is expensive compared to ink but you get so much more from it. End of the day i dont use my printer to print photos and need a reliable full house printer for kids school projects and what have you.

After much agonizing over types, styles, prices and brand names I arrived at what would be best for my situation... instead of ink jet or mega tank the laser printer won. Now ...what kind? I chose Brother and Im thrilled at the outcome. I dont print much anymore but when I do its going to be something essential . The laser is ready , boots up smoothly, prints quickly and the page is sharp and clear. I did have a slight problem in setup., which was downloaded from the Brother site. It asked for some number that was supposedly on the printer somewhere.....it was not. So I kept looking and found another Brother site for setup and this one worked beautifully. Ot only took a minute or so and it was ready to rock. Since then Ive printed several pages for both written word and artist reditions of animals to use for hobby work and all came out perfectly. I even like the size.of the printer which has a footprint about the same dimensions as my old ink jet., but with a distinctive more compact style. And for the price I paid.....I'm super impressed.

Purchased Brother HLL2480DW Wireless Black and White Laser Printer after with have an HP printer for a long time. What a difference! Easy set up and troubleshooting, quick printing and print quality.
