Brother Printer Scan Multiple Pages To One File

I bought the scanner mainly so I could throw away paper copies and keep scanned ones. The feeder takes multiple pages at at time, and the software is only asking to prompt you for a file name. You can chose if you want multiple pages in a single document or each page in its own file. Unfortunately, it's not clever enough to scan two documents in the feeder and automatically detect that they should be saved under two separate filenames, so you'll need to feed it accordingly. It scans directly to PDF and do some OCR work to make documents searchable if you put them in Google drive. It also comes bundled with Abby FineReader which seems to do a better job with the OCR and supports languages other than English. Using is also easy because it won't ask you for anything, it'll just read the file, OCR it, and delete the original with let it, which is what I wanted. The email feature isn't what I thought it does. It just scans and opens your email software with an attachment. That's the only negative point about this scanner. It's smart, but still just a desktop scanner, not a workspace floor level scanner. The WiFi and screen are nice features, but it still need a laptop running the software to receive any image it scans, it's not truly standalone as some other department level devices. Having said that, if you scan a fewer dozen short documents per week this would be perfect for you. If you work in law or need to scan 100 page contracts - you'd want a model with a feeder with a higher capacity.

the scanner can scan multiple pages into one pdf document. I tested a 115 page document into 1 page. read the instructions well. the canon web site has a supplemental page with instructions.. took a while to read but now I am fairly confident of what the scanner is capable of doing. I use a Mac Mini and the resolution is more than adequate. the higher the resolution the larger the file. fits normal & legal size.

The printer has many functions.. Scan with ease front and back.. print 42 pages per minute (wow).. plus you can print from a tablet or smartphone Apple or Android device. The cartridge 070 black (included) products 3,000 pages.. Print.. Copy.. Scan.. Fax.. 4 in 1 printer.. Definitely recommend..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It prints quickly and and the pages look great. So far no smudging, fading, or gaps. Every page just looks great. It even has you scan back in a page that it prints out so that it can calibrate the scan and copy processing. This helps it to create even more accurate copies. The screen is easy to use but you do have to either swipe quickly or click on the far right or left sides to scroll across the menu options. If you swipe slowly sometimes it thinks you are selecting the option your finger is on. The setup was very easy. Each step was clear except for one step where it asks if you want to schedule supply deliveries. The phrasing was just a little strange. But you can decline the deliveries and just continue with the printer setup. I already had the Canon Print App installed on my phone. So it was able to detect the new printer in less than 30 seconds and I just added it to my App. The main body of the printer feels very solid and well made. However, the cover over the scanner feels a little flexible and too light. I know it's just a plastic cover, and it doesn't need to feel weighted or anything. But it does feel weird how light and flexible it is compared to the rest of the printer. Overall I really like it. It does all the color printing and the scanning that I need. It's very fast and doesn't print any bad pages. I'm happy with it.

This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-5200 Wireless Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. The printer came in a well designed package along with detailed instructions on how to set it up. I was able to get the set up done and successfully install the printer and charge the ink in less than 30 minutes. The printer looks great and is well designed. I was able to connect the printer wirelessly after installing the app on my smartphone. After that I sent out multiple pages to print in both color and black/white mode for different page sizes. The printer produced immaculate prints for all of them in no time. The quality of the print for both color and b/w pages were excellent. I was also able to scan some important documents using the scan option and save them successfully. I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for an inkjet all in one printer that can do both scan and copy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the ink cartridge that I chose for my computer. It has 2300 pages that it can print. It is the 229 XL for the brother printer it gives you the instructions on the back tells you how to install it shows you where to install it tells you if it’s going to fit your computer or your printer sorry and just gives you every little bit of information that you need. I heavily approved brother and that’s literally the only printer I will ever use. I don’t remember the name of mine but it prints up to 12,000 pages before me needing to refill it. They are slightly pricey for the cartridges but they lost a very long time and this is the most dependable printer I have ever had and two kids in homeschool I am absolutely in love with this printer, and I definitely will not buy another brand ever again. I have not had any bits of issues with this one and it’s amazing

I upgraded my old Brother MFC-9970CDW to the new MFC-L8900CDW this weekend. It was being shipped FedEx and was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but I called FedEx and was able to pick it up on Saturday. I spend about an hour configuring all the options, installing additional paper trays (1 250-sheet and 1 500-sheet), and testing the printer. It's a big improvement over the MFC-9970CDW, which was a workhorse in our home office. The printer is much quieter than my old one and when compared to other brands. There is a quiet setting that makes it even quieter, but this occurs at the sacrifice of some speed. The fax machine is pretty standard for all faxes. I was able to fax without difficulty using the normal compatibility setting via a Cisco adapter that converts analog to IP for RingCentral. I am very impressed with the L8900CDW's ability to customize scan functions. Perhaps this was present on the 9970CDW and I didn't explore it. I have mine configured with icons to scan to my iMac's desktop, scan to my personal email, scan to my wife's email, or send to a fire department where I'm medical director. Also, the Amazon Dash Replinishment service isn't active. This printer isn't listed as a supported model. I emailed Brother USA and was advised it is too new to be listed and will be listed soon. Overall, this is a great printer. One of the best multi-function machines you could buy. I highly recommend it!
