Brother Printer Scan To Email Setup

i been using brother printer and scan and i love it works great then others printers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer is a huge upgrade from my previous printer. I know it uses ink but I feel like it will last forever compared to my previous printer requiring ink ever 2 or 3 weeks. This printer was very easy to set up and even easier to connect to 2 different computers. I would say setup will take you about 30 minutes including linking your email. My favorite feature is the ability to scan invoices and have them delivered directly to my email. Not only will this keep you more organized but will speed up most other work with its quick and easy fax/scan copy features. No matter what I say I promise you will be even more impressed after you try this printer.

Printer is easy to set up and is perfect for my home / office use. To scan to email you have to use the app. Since it is wireless I was hoping that I could also print to email directly from the screen. Scans fast, prints very well and overall I am very pleased and would recommend this printer.

I upgraded my old Brother MFC-9970CDW to the new MFC-L8900CDW this weekend. It was being shipped FedEx and was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but I called FedEx and was able to pick it up on Saturday. I spend about an hour configuring all the options, installing additional paper trays (1 250-sheet and 1 500-sheet), and testing the printer. It's a big improvement over the MFC-9970CDW, which was a workhorse in our home office. The printer is much quieter than my old one and when compared to other brands. There is a quiet setting that makes it even quieter, but this occurs at the sacrifice of some speed. The fax machine is pretty standard for all faxes. I was able to fax without difficulty using the normal compatibility setting via a Cisco adapter that converts analog to IP for RingCentral. I am very impressed with the L8900CDW's ability to customize scan functions. Perhaps this was present on the 9970CDW and I didn't explore it. I have mine configured with icons to scan to my iMac's desktop, scan to my personal email, scan to my wife's email, or send to a fire department where I'm medical director. Also, the Amazon Dash Replinishment service isn't active. This printer isn't listed as a supported model. I emailed Brother USA and was advised it is too new to be listed and will be listed soon. Overall, this is a great printer. One of the best multi-function machines you could buy. I highly recommend it!

I purchased this printer to replace an old Brother laser jet. Since my old Epson scanner was no longer compatible with the current OS, I liked that this printer had the ability to scan as well. Setup was super-easy out of the box. I'm in a Mac environment, and I had no problem whatsoever getting it up and running. The printer is much faster than my old one - faster to warm up and to print. Quality is great, although the color is a bit dark and off. I'm sure I can adjust this, but haven't looked into it yet. The scanner works great, but be aware that you must sign up for an HP account in order to be able to scan. Overall, no regrets with this purchase. It serves its purpose and meets my needs.

Wireless setup was easy. Printer wakes up quickly from sleeping. Computer initially says offline but recovers and prints within 15 seconds or so. Print quality is very good. Haven't tried the print to email but I had no problems changing the email address to something I liked. The HP app is ok, I use it for scanning. Only glitch was HP had only 7 months left on the 1 year warranty but after I sent them the B&H receipt, they corrected it. So far I am happy with my purchase. However, I will try a third party for the toner because the cost is 5 times cheaper, but I will have to use the old toner chips so we will see.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the printer and got it mostly setup (still need to get the email setup) and it works flawlessly. I own a notary business and do a lot of printing and scanning and the printer is pretty fast. I love my new printer. I'm going to order the high capacity paper tray soon to complete my set up.

After much agonizing over types, styles, prices and brand names I arrived at what would be best for my situation... instead of ink jet or mega tank the laser printer won. Now ...what kind? I chose Brother and Im thrilled at the outcome. I dont print much anymore but when I do its going to be something essential . The laser is ready , boots up smoothly, prints quickly and the page is sharp and clear. I did have a slight problem in setup., which was downloaded from the Brother site. It asked for some number that was supposedly on the printer somewhere.....it was not. So I kept looking and found another Brother site for setup and this one worked beautifully. Ot only took a minute or so and it was ready to rock. Since then Ive printed several pages for both written word and artist reditions of animals to use for hobby work and all came out perfectly. I even like the size.of the printer which has a footprint about the same dimensions as my old ink jet., but with a distinctive more compact style. And for the price I paid.....I'm super impressed.

I've use this for 4 months now and it's worked flawless. I scan to my email and print every day.
