Brother Printer Scan To Network Folder

I bought the ES-50 2 weeks ago with the plan to purchase the ES-60W wireless if the ES-50 INSTALLED AND WORK problem free. Just installed to my network the 60 and so smoothly went the process that I'm impressed and gave the install my only 5 STARS rating ever. I will update in 2 weeks after I scan 5 years of clutter using the ES-50. I'm going to sit along side of my file cabinets and scan paper folder to computer folder until finished. I do not expect this ES-50 scanner to function through the whole process so depending on the 50's performance I'll either purchase a second set of ES-50 & ES-60W, one more 50 (USB) or one last network 60W. For now 5 STARS EPSON!

I upgraded my old Brother MFC-9970CDW to the new MFC-L8900CDW this weekend. It was being shipped FedEx and was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but I called FedEx and was able to pick it up on Saturday. I spend about an hour configuring all the options, installing additional paper trays (1 250-sheet and 1 500-sheet), and testing the printer. It's a big improvement over the MFC-9970CDW, which was a workhorse in our home office. The printer is much quieter than my old one and when compared to other brands. There is a quiet setting that makes it even quieter, but this occurs at the sacrifice of some speed. The fax machine is pretty standard for all faxes. I was able to fax without difficulty using the normal compatibility setting via a Cisco adapter that converts analog to IP for RingCentral. I am very impressed with the L8900CDW's ability to customize scan functions. Perhaps this was present on the 9970CDW and I didn't explore it. I have mine configured with icons to scan to my iMac's desktop, scan to my personal email, scan to my wife's email, or send to a fire department where I'm medical director. Also, the Amazon Dash Replinishment service isn't active. This printer isn't listed as a supported model. I emailed Brother USA and was advised it is too new to be listed and will be listed soon. Overall, this is a great printer. One of the best multi-function machines you could buy. I highly recommend it!

I purchased this printer to replace an old Brother laser jet. Since my old Epson scanner was no longer compatible with the current OS, I liked that this printer had the ability to scan as well. Setup was super-easy out of the box. I'm in a Mac environment, and I had no problem whatsoever getting it up and running. The printer is much faster than my old one - faster to warm up and to print. Quality is great, although the color is a bit dark and off. I'm sure I can adjust this, but haven't looked into it yet. The scanner works great, but be aware that you must sign up for an HP account in order to be able to scan. Overall, no regrets with this purchase. It serves its purpose and meets my needs.

I had an 8-year old Brother printer that had bad connectivity issues in my home mesh WiFi environment. Then the time came that I had to replace all four toners, so instead I spent SIGNIFICANTLY less $$ to purchase this new machine complete with 6-months worth of toner (very light home office use; more scanning than printing). With this Canon I get modern WiFi to connect to our network. Everyone in the house can easily print from MacBooks, iPads & iPhones via WiFi. The Brother just couldn't find or stay connected to our network. Even plugging into the ethernet didn't solve that so the old printer could only be used w/ a USB cable. There are NONE of those issues with the Canon. Worked right out of the box like I expect from new tech. I'm impressed with the scanning software, too. Better than the Brother app, but YMMV So far very happy with this purchase. 5-stars. And as always, B&H makes tech buying simple. Plus next-day delivery over 100-miles from NYC. Flawless!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Canon photo and document scanner is really nice. You can scan up to 40 photos at once, which is a time saver. You can customize the folder you save the photo or document in as well. So there a fewer steps. You don’t have to scan one at a time, go to your computer, move the photo to the folder you want. It’s all quick and easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love Brother brand, they make the best printers and scanners. My work uses all Brother printers. This scanner is just magnificent, super easy to set up, took me less than 2 minutes to do. I connected mine to wifi and was able to print it without any issues, prints comes out in high quality and straight, settings are easy to navigate thanks to touchscreen and it has all of the options you need. Scan to server, scan to SMP, scan to email, and etc., You can control the settings through the scanner itself, through app or a brother software utility on your PC. It does come with all the cables that you need to get it to work without wifi but my suggestion would be if you buying this, use the wifi, you can scan it anywhere. Set up a printer, download the brother full package software, install it and bam you have a wonderful scanner. Highly recommend it for businesses and even just for everyday home use. Definitely worth a price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These brother file folder labels do their job. They seem very sticky and I do not have any worries that the glue will dry up and the labels will fall off in the future. Very sticky labels from brother.

This took about 1 hour to completely set up and get my brother remotely connected. Overall, this is great for setting up a share. The only inconvenience is that a single folder cannot be shared with the same person. By this I mean that I can place files in a folder and share that folder with a link. But if that person has a modification to the file, they need to set up their own share on my BeeStation device via Synology account (created if they don't already have one). It would be nicer if we both can read/write to a single shared folder.
