Brother Printers For The Home Office

This is my second, or third, or 4th - not sure exactly how many - Brother printers I have owned. Brother is my go-to brand when shopping for replacement printers for my home office. As with the ones before it, this, too, is an outstanding printer and good value compared to the competition.

I have owned several Brother printers over the past 20 plus years. In fact, two are still running flawlessly and are 5 and 10 years old. After selling my company, I started my next venture and needed a light use copier/scanner/printer for my home office. I didn't need a full fledged copier lease. So when I went looking for an option for my office it was easy to go with a Brother and it does not disappoint. The MFC-L8900CDW is easy to setup, use and is flexible enough to handle all my business needs. I would recommend this device and would purchase it again.

I have a couple Brother printers here in the office that use this TN-760 cartridge and they consistently exceed the estimated page count. I've had the same experience with previous models including the one I've had at home for the last 6 years. YMMV, if you are printing something other than text documents with bar codes and engineering drawings. I can project a budget and meet it every time plus I can send the empty cartridge back to be recycled.

I have always used HP for my home office. I have used other printers but I am happier with HP printers and ink. Top quality.

I have been buying Brother laser printers for home and 3 offices for 10 years and love the efficiency of Brother. THIS is by far the best printer I have owned for my small business - it is super fast and efficient and the print quality is spot on. I've owned several other multi-function laser's by Brother and this one exceeds all my expectations. Pros: Duplex scan, easy set up, speed of printing (single or duplex), customized buttons (we have one set to double side scan via email to Office Manager and use this daily, saves time choosing these options), runs quiet. Cons: None, owned for 3 months and no glitches.

I have been using brother printers at home and at work for years. I am a medical practice manager and I use my printer to death, faxing also. I love the paper feed in the front for switching out from one type of paper to another without having to remove the paper tray. It has a lot of very nice features, and I am very glad it went back to more buttons instead of that touchscreen. Much prefer buttons to touch screen.

The entire setup process, connecting wirelessly, removing and changing the ink, etc. are quick and very user friendly. I’d definitely invest in a colored printer from brother, so I’ll be able to print any and everything from home!

I had one of these label printers on my office desk for a number of years. After I retired I found I needed one just as much here at home, so I bought this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my fair share of printers but this printer is amazing for a home office, although it is a lot larger than I thought it was going to be. The setup instructions and connecting it to my computer was easy and simple. It prints quickly and the color payoff is nice. It's been over a month with printing at least three times a week and the ink is still pretty much full. Overall, it's one of the best printers I've owned so far and I love it in my home office.

I love this printer, it's great for a small home office. I went from 2 printers into 1 printer. The only negative is how long it takes to actually print after you press the print button. I know I am using the WiFi, but my "other" printer printed pretty fast. I love the vivid color printing, how fast you can cancel a print and it was so easy to set up.
