Browser Games Private Server Files

I use it for all my data backup for my lab and also for backing up all my private files. It is really fast. The WD software is kind of annoying and made for people who don't know who to do file transfers, but it does not get in your way if you do not want to use it. Over all great product.

using this drive to archive files off our main server system. works as advertised. good thu put off the servers through the ethernet, but best on the computer controlling the server RAID.

I've used these hard drives for several years in my Synology NAS and for offsite backup. I have 3 now. They're unfailingly reliable, reasonably priced, and durable. I appreciate that they're specifically designed for the heat/abuse they get inside an NAS, and they hold up very well. Highly recommended. I'm a designer and my server is primarily used for still media (photoshop files, etc.), and I tend to work on local copies on my laptop, then sync backups to the server. These 5400 rpm hard drives are perfect for this; they're inexpensive and fast enough for the relatively low bandwidth I need. However, if you do more high-bandwidth/transfer-intensive stuff, like editing video directly on server files, for instance, you might find it worthwhile to spend more for SSDs or 7200 rpm drives.

I purchased two of these I'm using one of them as a backup windows clone and the other as a storage drive for games & files that I need to keep So far it's working good

This is an excellent HDD at a great price to keep my files on for my desktop. On it I mostly have games, they start and load quickly and without errors. It is also much quieter than the older HDD that this replaced. I would highly recommend it as a primary drive.

I am a photographer, but don't want to carry my 5D to the zoo and ball games!! This is great to leave in my purse. Takes wonderful, spontaneous photos, even on Auto. Focus is incredible! I'm getting a little spoiled by it in fact. Downsides? Viewfinder is poor. Shot in RAW and could'nt open the files in Bridge. Contacted Canon and they said there wasn't an update for the RAW files yet and I would have to open those in their software... which I don't llike. Also, recycle time is a little slow, maybe not as much if you use the viewfinder and not the screen.

We need to keep personal information private and this privacy filter does great.

Great projector so far. With my bose 900, you have your private theater.
