Bt Wireless Router Address

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently switched to this router because the one I had kept switching my ip address. My internet would go out and equipment would not work. I'm glad I switched.

Easy to set up once I figured figured out that you need to get the MAC address of the router, then enter into your Spectrum account web interface. The modem/router works great otherwise as far as speed- best I have had so far. It is also easy to navigate user interface of router/add ip reservations, see attached devices on the LAN etc.

I was surprised at how easy it was to set up this router. I only had to call my ISP and give them my new MAC address. The Nighthawk router has so many features and is very secure. Constant monitoring of my network made this one of the best choices I have made. I am very glad to have purchased this router.

The CM1000 is a plug-n-play device without any configuration. However, it is a modem and not a router. This means once you connect a laptop to test the Internet connection directly, the ISP remembers the laptop's MAC address and makes subsequent installation of router difficult unless you are pairing it with a Netgear wifi router which allows it to emulate the earlier MAC address that works.

I've been using TP Link for over 8 years now. Prior was using ASUS. I upgraded from Archer CX3200 to this router. This router has a single 2.4 and a single 5 ghz band, but it supports wifi6 which can output over 4200 MBS. First i connected this router to my laptop by ethernet cable. I then used my wifi on the laptop to download in sequence the TP Link firmware updates to my laptop. I then tuend off the wifi and connected by wire to the laptop. to do this easily, I assigned an IP4 address and gateway to my laptop ethernet adapter. The router by default is 192.168.0.1 The box contains the administrator username and password. I kept the router's wifi signals off. Next after logging in, I updated the firmware to the current level, assigned the fixed ip address and max addresses to the new router I was using on my old router. I set up the wifi network names and passwords, guest networks, checked the signal strengths and channels being used in my area and set my wifi to the clearest channel bands. I set up my vpn, firewalls, etc. I set my dns to my preferred public dns and I set up my DHCP server for the range I like. Then I set the router's ip address to 192.168.1.1, shut it down. disconnected my old router, shut down my cable modem, connected the new router, powered it up and then powered up my cable modem. Since my wifi network names and passwords were the same, my devices connected. Also, I enabled the UNP on this router and all of my devices with port forwarding worked well without a glitch. My phone connected at wifi6 band and downloaded at over 600 mbs 15 feet from the router. A big plus for this router is the ability to set up a VPN client and server and specify several VPN connections as well as which devices you want to always use the VPN to pass traffic. For the money, its fast and stable.

You can wire it or use BT.

These are certainly the best sounding wireless headphones I’ve ever heard. I use these closed BT phones exclusively for listening away from my home system...flying, coffee-shop, traveling etc. Obviously my open-air wired phones I use at home exhibit markedly higher-fi sound quality; but these Marshall BT Monitors are my hands down go-to when I need a wireless phone. My only critique for the designers would be to somehow make them a little easier to fold down, as I kind of feel like I’m going to stretch the headband too much or accidentally brake the hinges when folding down. That said I wouldn’t use any other BT headphones besides the Monitor!

Really needed the BT for the wedding before and after background music. Also plugged a wireless lavalier into channel one and a wireless handheld in channel two. . .worked like a champ. Connected them with xlr cables and just worked great outdoors for a small venue. . .was well worth the price for two. . .

Purchased for my ancient laptop which had a few USB. Used it for connecting USB mouse, BT adapter, and wireless keyboard adapter. Have one spare USB left, which I use for connecting WACOM drawing tablet. Everything works just fine as intended, no heating. Tested with USB external hard drive (4TB WD Passport) - was powerfull enough to power this monster (though I am not intending to connect it all the time to the hub, better to leave it connected directly to a PC).

It's a wire. I love it. Just when everything is going wireless, it's nice to know that sometimes, you can get by without an IP address. I'm sure some other brand will sell you a wire for 10x the price, but in the end, it's still a wire. This wire does its job well. What's not so good about it? It's 3' long. So if you're plugging it into your phone or mp3 player, and it falls off the table, the wire won't keep it from hitting the ground.
