I use this by my desktop computer. Cat5e cable comes in from downstairs (router) and plugs into this gigabit switch. A short Cat6 cable goes to the desktop computer. Another short Cat6 cable stays close by to plug into either my laptop or notebook computers when I need them. Rubber pads on the bottom will keep it from moving around on top of a desk; however, I mounted it vertically on a wood shelf with the ports facing down with the included 2 screws. The cord on the included AC adapter was plenty long for my needs. The centerline distance between the holes in the back of the switch are 1-13/16 -- not 1-3/4 or 2. I don't know what led Netgear to pick what I would call a kind of non-standard dimension; it's much easier to pick off more common dimensions on a ruler than 1-13/16 when trying to install the switch. But overall it is a great product.

I used 1 out of the 3 included cables to install a new SSD into a desktop computer. The remainder will be used at home on my machines. Thanks!

Really happy with this monitor so far. Resolution works for what I need, and the tools that come with it are not included in much more expensive monitors. Large Screen, Waveform, Scopes, Peaking, safety margins, False color, its bright, Pinch to zoom, Custom LUT profiles, customizable menus and dedicated buttons for functions you use often. Menus are easy to navigate, and it includes a pretty solid mounting arm, so overall I am very happy with it. Build quality is what you should expect with a budget monitor. Plastic housing, lighter feel, as I said it's a budget monitor. Negatives: It's glossy, so reflections will be an issue in certain environments. Touch screen will leave fingerprints(It's a touch screen, this is more common sense.) I will update if there are any issues after more use, but I recommend this over many very expensive alternatives if you are on a budget.

I initially used it as a computer monitor, then hung it on the wall as a small TV, and now just recently I took it back down and pit it on my desk to use as a computer monitor! At 32" it preforms well at both, and happens to be very roomy as a desktop monitor! I love that it has miracast so you can use it for wireless DeX (found on S series phones & tablets to create a desktop expirence), you can also use as a wireless display for windows! I actually prefer HDMI so I can do HD content, music (on the amazing speakers), and have a very quick response time! Wireless it still happens to be very fast! This is not a touchscreen monitor, and I don't want it to be, it would not make much sense! Also this thing goes plenty bright, and has eye saver features. I like that you can download apps and use as a smart tv too. This also doubles as a smartthings hub if you are looking for that as a feature. Really I couldn't ask for anything more from a monitor!! Pros: Bright Large Smartthings hub Has miracast Tons of settings Smart TV too! Great Speakers! Cons: Only one I can think of, and it is that there seems to be a lack of customization features for the monitor UI, just something I noticed and it is a personal preference. This doesn't take away from my 5 stars, it wouldn't discourage me from buying a second one, it also wouldn't discourage me from telling anyone reading this review, DEFINITELY BUY THIS MONITOR TOTALLY WORTH IT!

I used this cable to connect an older Mac desktop computer with a white DVI monitor output to a flat screen HD TV HDMI port. This worked AOK. Adjustments to the TV contrast and brightness resulted in a very nice display. The three-foot length seems ample and limits additional can-of-worms effect at the back of the desk!

This cable saved me from despair! After refurbishing/rebuilding my desktop computer, discovered that the cable for my monitor did not fit any of the ports. The B&H Computer guy knew right away what I needed, and sent it right away. The old kind of cable was all I had experienced, so never considered it would not work with the new system! Hooking up that cable was like having the first bite of a fancy cake! [My laptop was driving me crazy!!!]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a small personal computer to keep in my home office to handle my everyday computer needs such as online searches, finances and documentation. I was really surprised how small the desktop really was. It doesn't take up much room and there's enough device ports for anything I want to connect to. In the few weeks I have used it, I haven't experiences any lagging or slowness to any of my work. I feel like I have enough storage for the documents I need to keep. My son plans to use this for his school work this upcoming school year. While he's not in college yet, I could see something like this being perfect for a dorm room as it doesn't take up much space. I have my monitor sitting on top of it and it's basically the same size as the monitor base. It does come with a thin keyboard and mouse. Both are wired so I will most likely upgrade those to wireless devices. They work fine and seem adequate for everyday use. I just prefer less wires. I'm really happy with this desktop and can see myself and my family using it for the next few years. I'd recommend this desktop to anyone looking for a desktop computer.
