Easy to fold away, small and light... just what I need

This is a perfect compliment to the monitor. The handles fold out so you can place the monitor on a table or flat surface for easy viewing if you don't have a stand. Nice soft touch handle. Really quick and easy to remove. Highly recommend!

Out of the box I'm impressed with the quality and build. Threads easily, I like the large knurled ring with indicators, and the case fits in my filter pouch - and will get used! This replaces another well used and abused brass CPL which is embarrassingly scratched and blurred. Will see how well this stands up over time and hard use.

Out of a plethora of lenses for my D810 this is just sublime. The build quality blows away any Nikon gold ring lens and third parties. The smooth focusing ring is a nice touch for myself as it doesn't dig in after a full days usage. The long throw makes manual focusing a breeze for stills. The drawback to this lens thus far would be the weight, but being an all metal construction it's expected. Also the fact that the focus ring is almost the entire body can make mounting and dismounting a slow and steady process.

I am new to Venus Optics. This was, in fact, the first non Nikon F-mount lens I have ever purchased. Out of the box the build quality is impressive, far exceeding expectations at this price point. In the short time that I have owned, this lens has proven to be very capable, is easy to focus and extremely sharp. I highly recommend exploring the secret lives of little garden creatures with the Laowa 100mm.
