Great mic for any kind of use. Vocals sound great as well as guitar and bass amplifier. I use this mic in my home studio and live performance.

Needed two of these for a bass guitar extension cabinet. Very easy to build with speaker cable I had at home (16AWG works fine for a 2ft cable) and some hand tools- no soldering needed. Saved myself money and weight by not buying an overbuilt speaker cable. At $4/connector, I will probably pick up a few more to make backup cables.

I bought a pair of these to use with a guitar amp simulator. They sound great and allow for getting the amplifier and effects tone without having to crank up the volume to concert levels.

In 1969 I saw a solid-body electric guitar with a three-inch amplifier built into the face of the guitar. The tiny speaker was powered by a nine-volt battery inserted in the back of the instrument. Fantastic, I thought, why don't they make a suction-cup amp that sticks onto the face of the guitar? A zillion years later they did and it is fine.

The sound is excellent and it looks amazing with this retro design and guitar amplifier style! 20+ hours of battery charge life it`s truth, not joke!

The music that comes out of these $ headphones is just phenomenal especially when you use it with an amplifier. At the moment, I'm using it with the FiiO E6 and it's just absolutely fantastic. Even in Grado's consumer-friendly products (to describe it as low-tier is an insult to the product. There is nothing low about it except the crisp bass that comes out of these cans), you can tell that the company has never skimped in quality. The SR80e is a more than adequate pair of headphones for people who are just starting out with high-end audio equipment. The sound is spacious, the bass is clean and its highs are very beautiful. However, it's the mids that truly excel in these headphones. You can vividly hear every nuance in a song. I've discovered a lot of new sounds from songs and records I've listened to for years. Some people might find the cord a little bit too long but a simple twist tie would take care of it. All in all, a really great product that's has incredible value for your money.
