My old PC was starting to have trouble running games and my build times for LLVM(which I frequently need to recompile for work) were annoyingly long. I choose this CPU because it has more fores for compiling code and has close to the best single threaded performance for gaming. (I know that this the GTX 970 in my PC a gaming bottleneck. I took it from my old PC and will replace it when GPUs are back in stock.) 5 |

I needed a big HDD for my video editing build in a gaming PC platform and this was just the ticket. I was concerned about shipping, packaging etc because of others' reviews, but it came in a box with molded plastic end pieces holding it away from the sides securely. No complaints! The drive rarely makes noise that can be heard over my cooling fans, and when it does, it's just normal HDD sounds I've heard all PCs make in the past. 5 |
