This is a really great gimbal. Make sure you check out the compatibility sheet before buying though. Your camera model may not be able to use all of the features. 5 |

I build DIY vehicle mounts. Often after looking at those designed by others. Recently I saw this used with 5/8 rod to make unique mounts for camera vehicle platforms. I had a bunch in a gear bag that I used on top of light stands to support side curtains in transportable stages. I pulled out the rod clamp thumb wheel and replaced it with two 3/8 x 20 bolts. Then started configuring vehicle camera platform support rigs. This is a unique appliance with uses far beyond holding lights. 5 |

Im a Wildlife photographer and use a Canon 40D and the 400 5.6L non stabilized lens and this Gimbal has more then met my expectations. Built like a tank and is rock solid. I can now shoot lower ISO values with slower shutter speeds and get great results. This lens likes light but now I can get more keepers with the 393 Gimbal. Super product and its a keeper. 5 |
