Building A Low Budget Recording Studio

I'm just getting started building a budget/hobby studio and am using two of these umbrellas with a SB600 and a SB700. I must admit I was surprised of the quality. In my opinion they are made well and get the job done. Essentially you're getting two light modifiers in one, because you can remove the black cover and use as a shoot through. Definitely worth the price if your on a strict budget. 5 |

These were my first purchase toward building my own VO recording studio in my apartment and I love them. I don't yet have all the equipment I need for recording so for now, I use them for listening to music but they're great. I'm just getting started in VO work so these have been recommended for real-time monitoring by an instructor. I'll probably upgrade at some point to an even better pair but by far the nicest set I've ever personally owned. 5 |
