Building A Recording Studio In The Basement

I have a small recording studio in my basement for which I've purchased three of these racks. The build quality is outstanding and they're relatively easy to put together. The 12U version fits perfectly under my standard 29 high desk top (with about 1 inch to spare), and the wheels are nice and sturdy with a very stable locking mechanism on the front two. I especially like the fact that the rails are integrated right into the side panels and are in both the front and rear of the rack. This makes it perfect for mounting sliding shelves which need to be attached in the rear as well. The three that I purchased all had an Auray logo embossed onto a piece of plastic and glued to the front. It would be super easy to peel off if you wanted a cleaner aesthetic. If my gear keeps multiplying, I will certainly buy another one of these.

We are a recording studio with a bar in the basement. We also have a record label and have live performances in the live room of the studio. We just built a display case to hold all our CDs from the label in the lobby. I installed an Ipod so people could listen to the cds before they purchase them and also to listen to a sample from an upcoming concert. These headphones are great. Short cord, great sound, cool retro design.

These were my first purchase toward building my own VO recording studio in my apartment and I love them. I don't yet have all the equipment I need for recording so for now, I use them for listening to music but they're great. I'm just getting started in VO work so these have been recommended for real-time monitoring by an instructor. I'll probably upgrade at some point to an even better pair but by far the nicest set I've ever personally owned.

I don't review items typically. This is an awesome case for building in and making changes later. I love the basement, flexible cable mgmt options and future proofed depth size to handle ever increasing gpu lengths for the next 10 years. Fat fingered people like me will like this case as well.

We got these bad boys unpacked and mounted within like 5 minutes. We have a basement in our office building that we're leveraging for some photo and video use and the ceiling heights differ throughout the space. These allowed us to fit backdrops anywhere we wanted and easily accommodated the Super Clamps and brackets for the backdrops (as seen in the photo). Right now we have two rolls on these and they're hanging safely and the whole setup is sturdy after a couple weeks of use.
