I kind of cheated. I used a Mullard (National electric of India) 12ax7 instead of the stock tube, which i hear is very nice. This preamp simply outperforms my Schiit audio Saga. It has all of the nuance and detail, but an air and slight lushness/warmth that others lack. It does anything sonically my former Quicksilver tube preamp did, but better for a fraction of the cost. This is a low cost/high end sounding product...full stop. So, support American jobs, experiance high fidelity and get a Bellari PA-555.

Best construction cost money and it is worth it. This is much better than the aluminum ones.

... what a well made box! It should last my lifetime. I am going to order a couple of half Apples to go with it. I had originally thought of building my own. But the cost of comparable materials is not much less than the cost of buying this box.

I am in the process of building up my library of eyepieces and have found that the cost of the X-Cell LX brand has suited my needs without breaking the bank. I would recommend these eyepieces for anyone on a budget. Moon looks awesome through this eyepiece. Celestron makes a good product.

The performance of this little scope is incredible, especially when you consider the cost compared to building your own smart scope. The clear skies have been a bit rare lately, but I was able to get in a couple of nights sessions of about 45 minutes and imaged M51, even with only a relatively short amount of imaging, the picture produced was great.

The only con to the Play 5 is price. True, you get what you pay for, but due to cost, this will be a process of building the system I want. I am very happy with ease of use and quality of sound with Play 5. It took longer to unpack the speaker than it did to set up. I use every day, the neighbors will confirm! I look forward to adding another 5, Playbar, and sub!
